Exceptional curry and exceptional staff. I highly recommend the chicken tikka dansak and lamb madras! Best bindi I’ve ever had too. Can’t fault any of the food or the lovely staff! We will definitely be going back!

Seven of us came here for the first time last Sunday, and we were warmly welcomed an shown to a table and quickly brought drinks. We had poppadoms and generous trays of dips which included lime pickle, a favourite of mine. The mains soon arrived and everyone was really pleased with their choice, my son who isn't a fan of Indian food absolutely loved his chicken balti and has now been converted. I thoroughly recommend The Lancer and will definitely be visiting again

Don’t understand the negative reviews. We went here monthly but since the new management, food was delicious and even the house wine was nice. We had three separate waiters, all of which were super helpful, very nice, attentive and didn’t feel rushed. Would happily go again. There’s mention of outdated restaurant? I’ve not been somewhere with beautiful hand painted art on the wall…..
