Nice local diner. Food is good with fair prices. Lots of options in the menu. Servers, although understaffed, provided excellent service. Very friendly and made sure to take care of their guests. Longer than typical wait times for food because of staff shortage, but the staff does their best to compensate well. Please be patient with them and continue to support local businesses! We ordered the Benedict Florentine and The Hungry plate along with 2 cinnamon rolls. The poached eggs were good and runny without being undercooked and provided heaping portions for your order.

This is definitely a local spot but don’t let that stop you. When you walk in you get a warm welcome from the friendly staff and when you sit down they are quick to bring you a coffee mug anticipating your need for early morning caffeine. You will feel cozy from the “hometown” vibe and local diner decor, with tables, booths, and even a lunch counter. We tried a little bit of everything between the four of us and it was all good. I had the meat lover’s omelette and I couldn’t finish it, must have been four eggs in it and a 1/2 pound of bacon, sausage, and ham. The rest of the table had the usual fare of eggs and sausage or bacon and a couple of pancakes for the table. No one at the table was able to finish their entire plate as the portions were extremely generous. Go and eat, I can’t promise you will have the same experience but ours was fantastic and would go again if we are back in the area. Please keep in mind it is a small place and has a small staff. If they get real busy it may take a minute to get to you but if you smile they will smile back and they will thank you for your patience.

Last visit was tough. We had about 30 minutes to get something to eat before we had to head out for a trip. Thinking we had enough time, we stopped by Karyn's. I understand in today's climate, it's tough to find help. However, we went in and there were about 5 tables including us, it was not busy. We sat for about 13 minutes without ever being acknowledged, only to see 2 parties that came in after us get greeted and served. The server even went to the table next to us to bring food. At no point did she greet us, tell us that she would be with us in a minute, or even make eye contact. We ended up leaving as she served another group that came in after us. I doubt she even knew we left. In our previous visit, we had a similar situation, but at least got coffee. The server never came back to take our order. After we finished our coffee and waited we decided to pay for our coffee and leave because we couldn't wait any more. We have tried this place 3 times, and have only been able to try their food on our first visit. I honestly couldn't even remember how the food was or the portion size. I hear this is a decent place for breakfast, but I can't say that I would be back after 2 other awful experiences.

Very nice place to get a breakfast. Open all day and serves breakfast all day. Food was good but busy on a Saturday morning so make sure you have a little time. The only thing I would mention is that the home fries are kinda like mashed potatoes so if you like them soft have at it. If you don't, get hash browns. Friendly staff and clean.

This was my first time trying this place out along with my staff. I can't believe this place would even get 4.3 stars. they charge you a lot of money for a side of sausage which is one frozen flat rinky sausage that they purchase probably save a lot and save a lot round sausages are bigger and better. We also purchased a side of bacon and got three rinky small strips of bacon. Also the large cup of OJ was put in a coffee cup which was the size of a medium coffee. The toast was soggy and the BLT had one piece of bacon strip on it, and the lettuces was wilted. The French toast tasted like eggs because the batter was soaked in egg wash. The so called Texas French toast is not Texas style, it was the same as the regular French toast. We was so disappointed, NOT MAD just disappointed. We wasted so much of our time and money on this place. We will never again order from here. This place needs to revisit there menus and quantity of food. I gave this place one star because the only thing good was the Homefries with onions and they still charge to much for so little.
