Cool basement jazz club. Dark, moody, not too loud with a pretty good jazz band. Drinks were good, atmosphere was light, great way to end our last night in Austin. From the outside there isn't anything to see but a few signs and the name in neon in a window that barely shows at sidewalk level. You almost feel like you are walking into a hidden joint going down the stairs. Check it out, no pressure, just people hanging out and enjoying some good music.

When in Austin during SXSW this little joint is a must. Hidden in the basement with a good vibes. Live bands and drinks always soothes the soul. UPDATED REPLY: During these times of a pandemic there isn't too much to be done in a small venue and expecting to be socially distant with sanitized measures taken. We love the elephant room! What a cool place to visit a basement off Congress to listen to some cool jazz music. His place is very intimate and can get loud. If you want to talk I'd suggest sitting further away from the stage. You're into the music and just want to watch and listen, head up front. Good selection of drinks and the staff is nice and friendly.
