We were a bit hesitant to eat here because of the negative reviews but we are very glad we did. Aaron, our server, was very charming and helpful. The interior decor is beautiful and the food - easily in my top ten breakfasts ever. I had the avocado on toast with the vegan egg and it was INCREDIBLE. All the flavours were perfectly balanced and the portion size was spot on. It's not the cheapest place to eat but absolutely worth it.

This place deserves every star for all three categories. Servers were very friendly and sweet, the food was REALLY GOOD, drinks were really good, and the environment was beautiful. Indoor and outdoor seating, parking nearby, and good for big groups (up until like 8-9).

Had a wonderful breakfast here, everyone enjoyed their food. Nice outdoor seating, was a little windy, but we managed. The lavender chai was so good and I had the pork belly pastor. Had to go back the next day for the chai too.

Stopped by for a quick weekday lunch date and it didn't disappoint! We got waffles with the blueberry compote on the side, mushroom toast and avocado toast. All of the dishes were fresh and perfectly balanced. Yum!

I had brunch on a busy Saturday, but since I was alone I was able to sit at the bar immediately. The latte was quite good. The coconut chia pudding was also good. The Pastrami Benny was great! I wasn’t expecting it. You might not think it possible, but that’s some good original cooking right there. Worth the visit. As an aside, I always forget to take pictures before I start eating. It’s not Forthright’s fault that the food pictures isn’t pretty. 😆

This place is one of the best, if not THE best brunch spot in Austin! From the extra friendly staff to the delicious food and drink options! Highly recommend the brunch burger or chicken and waffles! If you’re visiting Austin, this is the place you need to stop for sure! I travel for work and this is always a go-to place when I’m here!

Very hip atmosphere with a diner feel. Staff was friendly and helpful in pointing me to the gluten free options. Waffles, pancakes and bread can be gluten free. The Avocafo toast was good, but would have been great with a little pico de gallo. But let me not forget, the zucchini bread is just as good as you've heard...and gluten free. 🥳

Seated immediately on a Saturday morning by a friendly hostess. Sat inside, although they have a charming patio with lots of shade trees. The interior dining room was modern and well designed. Restaurant was full of happy customers. Food was delicious! Only reason for four stars is the tables were very sticky and unfortunately a fly found its way to our area and was annoying us during the meal. Not the restaurant's fault I suppose.

This place was a flipping treat! As someone who is gluten free I was stoked to get a gluten free waffle and it was delicious! I also got the farmers plate with gluten free toast. Their fruit jam that came with it was so delicious I put it all over my waffle! Parking was a bit of a pain, as it's technically in a hotel. But it's worth the time it takes to find it. The service was lovely. Attentive but not over bearing. We sat outside which was beautiful and relaxing. If you are looking for quality brunch on a nice day and have dietary restrictions, this is a great option!

Must visit location! I enjoyed every minute of my time here. From a fantastic chai latte to delicious in-house biscuits. Definitely a must-have visit for anyone in the area. Service was great and music was even better! Only suggestion is to make a reso or you will have to wait.

The chicken and waffles were really tasty, I loved the caramelized pecans. What really stood out was the burger. It was so juicy and packed with flavor. I was actually blown away by texture.

We had a nice breakfast here. Make reservation in advance if you would like to come for brunch/breakfast. The food is good and staff is helpful. It's in the middle of buildings, so there is more of a city view if you sit outdoors. I particularly liked the yogurt parfait and the iced chai latte. I wanted to try the toast with mushrooms, but it was sold out by then.

Friendly professional service and well prepared breakfast food. Patio outside provided a nice eating environment to enjoy a creative and tasty menu. Their take on avocado toast had bright flavors and was filling, and for a more heart meal their biscuits and gravy had great flavor with just enough spice.

Stopped by for lunch. Even though it was crowded we were seated right away. They are super quick at turning tables and getting you service. Our lattes were tasty and creative. Both of our meals were fantastic and very large portions. We could even finish the sandwich but the chicken was spot on!
