Coco's Cafe

Seems relatively nut allergy friendly. I've gotten their shaved ice a few times and it's been fine. The shaved ice is massive. I share it among 5 people regularly after taking friends to some other restaurants in the plaza, as a palette cleanser. Recommend the taro, mango, and lychee jelly as toppings. I got their large Avocado Smoothie with boba for the first time today. They nail the avocado flavor and creaminess, but it is slightly sweet and the price is pretty high. The large is huge though! The flavors aren't the most intense but it's always a great dessert that I will continue to bring people to for the sharability of the shaved ice alone.

This place won me over because of the staff. The young man working the counter was patient, thoughtful, helpful, and kind. He let my curious kids try taro milk and boba for the first time. He helped them come up with their first ever boba drinks: coconut smoothie with strawberry boba and strawberry smoothie with traditional boba. The coconut strawberry was a huge hit. My son wants to experiment with flavors more. He also dropped his smoothie almost immediately after taking his first sip. He cleaned up his mess on his own and the counter worker noticed and made him a fresh smoothie for his efforts. We will definitely be back. Awesome assortment of flavors and toppings.
