Pancit and adobo was soo delicious. The person at the counter asked if I wanted wrapped fried plantains and I am so glad I got them! Everything was amazing and the staff was really nice. Well worth it.

A friend had recommended this place to me and we ended up going together for lunch. Always had frequented Hangar Bay in the same strip but I always wondered what Cabalen was about. Well it's a filipine diner with ready to eat meals that can be prepared cafeteria style. Chicken adobo, pancit, menudo, vegetables, fried plantains are just some of the items. Seating is limited so get there early as its pretty popular with the local filipine population and the military.

Food is good, but CUSTOMER SERVICE ISN'T. not very friendly staff. I mean if I would own a restaurant I would talk to customers to see how they're doing or how's the food or whatever. Didn't even say thank u when we left.

It's a small restaurant, mostly good for take out but, there are a few table to sit. The we got the fish, bitter melon and the Ginataan. All the dish was good! Authenticity at it's finest.

Very good, authentic Filipino dishes, karinderia style. Their bicol express is a must try if you love spicy food.
