Really disappointing. Went here for the good reviews. I’m not a picky person but the service was iffy. Had four different people wait out table and was ignore by all of them while we were asking for our check to leave after waiting. The food was cold. I ordered fish and chips, got one piece of fish that was okay sized and maybe ten fries. Tasted fine. Great beer list and good atmosphere. Just over priced and underwhelming on the food and service side of things.

An Athens icon, just reopened after a long shutdown. Was eager to check it out, see the changes, and try the new menu. Kind of a let down, hoping it's only a rocky return that will smooth out. Service wasn't what it used to be. Place wasn't busy but it was hard to get the server's attention. The hand cut fries with creme fraiche and peanut satay was stone cold when it arrived at the table. They took it back to the kitchen and either briefly nuked it or shoved it under a broiler. Came back warm and I don't know if the creme fraiche scorched or what, but it tasted terrible. It was better cold. Finally got the server's attention again. We just wanted to cancel the order and take it off the tab at that point. The server was argumentative and told us the chef was going to be disappointed. Well, me too.
