Great brewery with several beer options, nice atmosphere, and plenty of seating. They're dog friendly and even gave our pooch a treat. We liked every beer we tried!

Great open air brewery with tons of taps of their own beer. Sours, ipa's, pilsner in a number of flavors. Local and delicious.

First time at Catawba. Great Brewery with inside and outside seating that allows you to bring food from Buxton Hall BBQ in. Dog friendly both inside and out. Beer was very tasty and they had live music outside. Staff was really welcoming.

Ok Catawba please distribute the Strawberry Milkshake Beer to the Rock Hill SC/Charlotte NC area it was delicious. I have a long story about how I was looking for a strawberry beer a few summers back and nothing…I had no idea you guys had Strawberry Zombie you were sold out so I still have to check that out but the Strawberry Milkshake was excellent and I’m not the biggest IPA fan but I do believe the lactose added truly transformed it for me! Great job!

Great Beer, Awesome Scene, and Oh So Good BBQ Next Door!!! Brew -- had a flight and got reg White Zombie (always a classic), Strawberry Zombie, Peach Sour, and Blackberry Sour. All were good, especially the Peach Sour!! Scene -- tons of space available in many parts of the brewery. Always helpful and friendly in helping with suggestions. Service -- friendly and helpful with suggestions of their wide variety of beers to choose from. Bonus -- Buxton Hall BBQ is next door and amazing!! The smell moves into Catawba and makes it even better. Grab some BBQ next door, perfect beer food!! Summary -- one of the best and staples of the South Slope!!!

Pretty nice vibe, Bartender knowledgeable about the there products. Not over impressed with the beers we tried and the not very cold. Wife really liked the Habanero beer. If you like brewery's I higher recommend you try it out. But just didn't wow us enough to give 5 stars.

Way cool place with good enough beer. I am an IPA fan. The Hopness Haze is solid. Lots of outdoor seating. Good service. Right next to Buxton Hall BBQ. (Which is currently closed. Not sure if reopening). I will be back. 2nd visit...just as good. Have a food truck. Chill place.

Catawba always offers a wide range of beers, which is great when you go with a group of varying beer preferences. I especially like that this location offers a lot of small batch brews! This time they were serving a lot of fruit smoothie sour beers, and fruit cobbler beers. I got a flight and FYI the smoothie sours were SWEET! I expected it to be more tart, but it was so sweet I ended up not finishing it. Really enjoyed their strawberry zombie, a fruit spin on their classic white zombie. Lots of space to sit inside and outside at picnic tables!

Very nice vibe, great music, nice staff and good beer. We enjoyed a relaxing time sitting right by the brew tanks. You feel like you are a part of the operation. The brewers are hanging around working. Definitely recommend this place. As they say, "the beer is calling I must drink" and we did.

We stopped in at Catawba to get a quick beer. It was a busy Saturday afternoon. The bartender said it had been "dead" the day before. The service was ok but not great, possibly because of the busyness. They had several areas for seating and we were able to find a seat. Pros: size of space, seating options, and murals. Good beer and big selection. They had a food truck. Cons: they have flights but you can only get them pre set on the weekends (though they do sell half pint pours). Staff halfway adhering to mask wearing (bandanas falling down). No kitchen for their own food (but restaurant next door and food truck).
