Popped in for a friends birthday, and because we wanted to shovel rice and various meats into our yaps moments after it’s cooked in front of our eyes. Food and service were spectacular! Fun decor - wanted to take a katana home but was told I could not. Would be 5 stars but we asked for a onion volcano and never got one.

Stopped in for a quick grab and to try out a new place. Decent size menu with a variety of different choices to accommodate different taste. BY FAR THE BEST PRESENTED PLATE IVE RECEIVED YET! Plenty of parking and well set up inside to accommodate groups or single adventures.

We've been to Yama Japanese Steakhouse 3 or 4 times and this time wasn't as good as before. It was my daughters birthday so when we went in I told the waitress it was her birthday and I expected the chef to do something a little exrra. I was wrong.... Instead of something extra it seemed like less of a performance. We arrived at 635pm and were done eatting and paid the bill by 715pm. Usually we are there about an hour and forty five. The food was great as always.

Wonderful experience for Christmas Eve dinner with the family. The server and the chef were very attentive of my specific dietary needs and requests. They took care to prepare my food first so that it wouldn’t be contaminated, and they verified everything along the way. Very happy with the great customer service and the food was great too. Would’ve liked a little more of a show, but a great experience nonetheless!

I haven't been here in years, but it was better than before. New owner? New name? Not sure, but it was so good and so fun! Before, I thought the sauce was too strong and there was so much of it. This time it was perfect. The chef was fabulous and on an amazing show. My boy's loved it!

This was, by far, the best meal I have had in years! I had the teriyaki filet and shrimp. It wasn't overly covered with sauce, and the steak and shrimp were cooled perfectly. The steak, which I ordered medium rare, was not over or under cooked, which NEVER happens, and the shrimp was tender and not rubbery. The veggies were nice and crisp, also. The meal was so good, and the service so great, that not only did we give our server a huge tip, since we sat at a table and not one of the hibachi tables, we asked the chef to come out and tipped him as well. I look forward to going back soon.

What an awesome place to go with your family whether you live here or you are here just to visit. It will be an experience you will never forget. They have delicious food cooked to perfection with a show to go with it. Fun for the whole family! It is pricey $$$. But we'll worth it! It will quickly become a place you will want to keep coming back to.

Delicious food, equally great service. I highly recommend the steak and chicken. Great show from the chef. Our waiter took good care of us, the busboy was very nice, entertaining and accommodating. Would definitely come back.

Typical Japanese Steakhouse food, great service, the cook did a nice performance for us and the food was great. I have been to a lot of these types of places where kids get special attention, and they skip parts of the act when its adults. These guys did a great job and didn't skip anything for us. Our group had a great time.

Not too expensive for a good meal. Staff is friendly and the food is good. However if you have a condition like copd be careful on busy nights as while they do have huge vents it never gets all the smoke out when there is that much cooking.

Great food and the cook was entertaining. Food was a bit on the salty side but still tasted great. Our server was nice but lost track of our drinks after a bit. Still did pretty well overall. I would definitely come back!

Loved every minute! We were promptly sat and helped. We had cold sake, the jalapeño bomb, clear soup, and hibachi. Tommy was fun and cooked everything perfectly. Can't wait to go back, it would be great with a big party.
