A great meal for a fair price if you don't mind sitting outside and waiting for it. I got a philly cheese steak and some cheese fries that were both amazing and well executed. You order at a walk-up window and wait outside for your order. While not an issue on a sunny comfortable day, I would not prefer this if it were frigid or raining. Took a little while to get, but it was a bit busy so I wasn't bothered by the wait.

Stopped by for a yummy sandwich tonight. Person who served me was kind and helpful. Subtracting a ⭐️ because I think it is disingenuous and unintegral to overcharge people for hidden fees without any way of customers knowing. When I asked about extra charge my server didn’t know. And I was told it was a fee for the takeout box. Which in itself I understand but not when people are charged without having any way to know. Owner was kind and told me it is in my bill. Only I didn’t get a bill and what use is that after one has paid and tipped? Then she said they just hadn’t updated the sign with the prices. When I asked the last time they did so she said about 2 years ago. Either embed the price or let people know. I could have just eaten there. PS. Not sure why I didn’t get regular shoestring fries? Or the option.

In n out has NOTHING on these animal style fries. This place is insane. The bread is the perfect bread, crunchy outside, soft inside, and a Delicious crackly brown shell. The meats were good, the flavors were great. The atmosphere was chill (you sit outside) and you sit next to a cookie shop that makes it smell amazing. Would drive all the way back to asheville just for this.

Window service sandwich shop with delicious vegan options! There is a clearly labeled vegan menu with 4 worry-free options. Most of the sides are vegan or can be made vegan. Great local bottled bev options, too. I got the buffalo cauliflower and my partner got the tofu bahn mi. We loved them both! There is limited outdoor seating, and that is the ONLY seating, so make your plans based on weather!

We were in the area for our son’s baseball tournament, and wanted a sandwich to take back to the fields. We came here due to proximity to the fields, and the positive reviews. A good decision as the sandwiches were hearty are delicious! I loved the vegan Reuben, and my wife enjoyed the Italian. There’s no sitting inside but they do have a spacious outdoor seating area. Next time we’ll have ti try the ice cream!

Found our meal to be delicious and reasonably priced. EVERYTHING on the menu, including fried items can be made GF. Fried fish was amazing. Will definitely be back often. Update Jul 2017 - food remains amazing and gluten free options insane. Place has gotten a little more "greasy spoon" in cleanliness, probably due for a serious deep clean, but doesn't detract from the food.
