Wow! Fantastic pizza! Top 5 best pizza places I've ever had easily. We bought pizza on Thursday evening and just reheated it and it was just as good as the shop, 2 days and 300 miles later. Great ingredients, and generous amounts. Zesty sauce. I wish they were in Raleigh. They would clean up here. Do not miss this place.

Standard is the place we go when we want decent food and don't want to spend a fortune. It's an unassuming brick building in West Asheville, with a small outside seating section. Parking is limited but there is usually a spot available. My only complaint is that single slices can sometimes sit a bit too long, but I only notice around a quarter of the time. That said, they have some great options (I love the thirteen, my wife likes the pizza with banana on it -- 🤮). I almost always get their Greek salad, which is poorly named (it's an artichoke and spinach salad), but tastes good. Otherwise, it's a great place for a good, quick and casual bite.

My husband and I wanted some pizza and found this place across the street from where we were staying. We shared: - Slice 1: pepperoni & onion - Slice 2: feta, artichoke, garlic - Slice 3: Cuban The Cuban pizza is one of the most interesting pizzas I've ever had. Banana on pizza sounds weird, but it was really good. The other pizza was pretty standard. I wasn't a huge fan of their crust, but overall, it was still good. If you're looking for a late night slice, this is a good stop.
