828 Family Pizzeria

I heard a lot about this place online, so I wanted to try it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very comfortable. Our server was Matt, who was incredible. He was very personable, and recommended us a really funny Instagram account. The service was also very attentive and welcoming. We tried the medium classic cheese pizza, NY Style. As someone who is from up north and has enjoyed pizza in NYC, this was a delightful trip back home for my tastebuds. The prices of the menu are very reasonable for the quality of the food. I would love to come back to try more of their menu!

We ordered 20 pizzas for a pre-wedding get together at a local brewery. The staff at 828 were so helpful and friendly and had our pizzas ready when we arrived. Everyone at our gathering raved about how delicious the pizzas were and they enjoyed the fresh cheese on the pizzas! Would highly recommend you try their pizza when you visit Asheville!

Went off a recommendation from the one bite app on vac from Wisconsin. Asked for it to be cooked a little longer and that was the right call. Cooked perfect, topping were spot on, (although wish it would have had a bit more onions). Sauce was on the sweet side which I like. This is a great little NY style pizza restraunt with great service and great pizza. A must try if your in the area!

Formerly called Marco's until the corporate chain and seller of cardboard forced them to change to 828. This is the absolute best pizza in Asheville, and maybe the country. (I haven't tried them all yet) Dominic and Brian are carrying on their fine family tradition of serving the best of NY pizza just like their father taught them. Family friendly atmosphere with an excellent selection of local brews on tap. Highly recommended!
