Dive bar with amazing cheap pub food. Vegan friendly! Cocktails are not fancy but are poured heavy and they always have a few fun cocktail specials. Easy parking in the square. Has a jukebox (pay to play), a couple pinball machines, and a pool table.

What can I say? This is a classic bar. The bar/dining area is small but not crowded and there is a large outdoor/smoking area out back. I come here for the wings probably once a week. In my opinion they are the best wings you can get in arcata (it used to be humbrews but they are doing something different now with their wings). Its mostly a bar so usually there is only one waiter for the tables but they get your drinks out fast so nothing to worry about.

I pay attention to my intuition and my intuition said step into this place for some fish and chips, and boy was I correct! Beer-battered cod, plank fries, and an amazing dinner salad. My body was more than satisfied, good classic juke box with all the right tunes. Visit this historic gem for great food, great service, and wonderful Arcata, California atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere. Coffee and orange juice were great so expected food to be the same. Sure enough it was! Sausage, eggs, and potatoes were perfectly cooked. Even tried the French toast and was impressed. Definitely going to stop again for breakfast when I'm in town next time.
