Applebee's

They were sort of busy. Apparently short handed in the kitchen so the servers were helping them. We sat for almost ten minutes waiting to put in a drink order while the hostess sat here on her phone. She could have grabbed our sodas. Than we were done eating , waiting for dessert, servers running around while the hostess sat in the office again on her phone when. She could have cleared our dirty dishes and helped out the servers. It's sad that she even has a job here and is allowed to sit on her phone while getting paid. This is what this age group has become. I hated tipping our server knowing she had to tip this lazy person out for literally doing nothing. Great standards Applebee's, and you wonder why your restaurant isn't competing very well with other places. NOT to mention they were out of French fries, cheese Stix and charged us for mashed potatoes with our sandwich when if they had fries that would have been fine. Chicken dry, potatoes cold. Definitely not going back...sorry not sorry. Bring up your standards or lock your doors

The wait to get seated was atrocious due to staffing shortages. My husband, daughter, two friends and I waited nearly 45 minutes. We had a baby with us as well so it was a little frustrating to be crammed on their lobby bench while there were tables open. It would have been so much nice, and we would not have minded, to have gotten seated and just waited for a server. When we were seated, the waitress was really nice and brought our drinks quickly. The food was delicious, especially the Mac and cheese with tenders. It was our friends birthdays and the waitress brought them each a dessert shooter. I hope they get more staff soon because minus that it was a great evening out.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was great. Hard to find places that have a vegan/allergy friendly meal, without having to completely change the item. I believe I got that southwest chicken bowl- dairy, egg and soy free, it was wonderful. The manager came over to ask how everything was and they were so nice about us staying and chatting for a few hours. 🤍👍🏻

I had an Oriental Chicken Salad, it was good. I appreciate the waitress bringing side of dressing because she thought the salad looked dry, that's just great attention to detail. Visited on a Thursday night so no waiting. Someone other than our waitress came and checked on us as well. Overall it was a pleasant visit, and while I have nothing to rave about I also have zero complaints.

Waited an hour to be seated and another 40 minutes for food to come. Staff was really friendly and did good for the 2 staff members that where doing all of the jobs except cooking. I used to like coming here with my family but I can't justify making my kids wait almost 2 hours for food when we anticipated way less. My food and my families were a little burned from the lack of cooking staff trying to make up the time. I only gave 3 stars for the staff trying so hard.

I could tell they were busy. Was super patient, waited a little over ten minutes for drinks. We waited well over an hour for 2 orders of chicken tenders, and a chicken and shrimp meal. My kids were extremely hungry after our Mother’s Day hike and were as patient as they could be. When I went to go talk to the manager, and said I’d either like to settle our drinks or see how much longer it’s going to take. So he charged me for my drinks and side salad and let me go on my way. Never checked on my food, or even checked with the kitchen. So we left- happy Mother’s Day to me. Will never go back to any Applebees in Appleton.

We tried stopping in for dinner a few weeks ago on a random weekday evening at around 5pm. Upon entry, there was no waitstaff be found and a number of full tables in the restaurant, etc. There was a server who looked busy manning several of the tables but he was the only person we saw. Finally after about 10 minutes of standing there, the bartender comes out of the kitchen and says "you guys are going to be disappointed but we're not serving food anymore - all the cooks didn't show up tonight." It was so sad. A previously bustling family restaurant has certainly deteriorated over the years. We'll see how long this place stays open....
