Sam's Pizza

Sam’s Pizza used to be the best place to go in the area for pizza. Ever since management switched over, the service has been beyond horrible. A Middle School kid did 100 times better than the group working now. They try to scam customers by putting a 12 inch pizza in an XLarge box while also cutting the slices thin to make it seem like you’re getting the size pizza you ordered (like you wouldn’t be able to tell…). 2 of the 3 times this happened we had to wait over 45 minutes for our order after getting to the restaurant 20 min after we ordered (when they said it would be ready). I get home and 1. the pizza looks like the pictures below 2. it wasn’t even cooked through. Along with all the issues, we have had, the “manager” I spoke with on our most recent order asked me what I expected them to do. MAKE MY ORDER CORRECT, HOW ARE YOU A MANAGER ASKING THAT QUESTION?! Again, this has now happened to us 3 times, same issues, and we will not be going back. This not how you do business. DO NOT GO HERE! You’re wasting your money, and your time by driving out.

After ordering a couple months ago and being unimpressed (pizza was noticeably small, barely any toppings, and they didn’t deliver themselves like normal which was always early) I assumed it was a fluke because I ordered here often. Tried again and that did it for me. This is not the same pizza I used to love. Half of the pizza was cracker thin and the other half was barely risen an inch thick. When handed the box, it was so light I thought it was empty. Made sense once I saw the pizza. I’m not going to give them a third chance to rip me off. Find another spot, this isn’t the same Sam’s.

The pizza is delicious. The staff Are completely incompetent. I went inside to order a pizza, only 1 other customer inside. I sat down at a table to wait for my pizza, 45 minutes later I get up to go ask what is taking so long and the response was that my pizza was going into the oven right now.. 45 minutes to get started on my pizza.. Hire at least one competent person to make sure everything works as it should. The manager there didn't see any problem 😞

Taste good, QUALITY HORRIBLE! When I called and asked kindly if they can replace it or get a refund the manager was really rude and said that's the way they make it, in other words "Too bad". All the toppings to my other pizza fell off. They put toppings first and then the cheese. This is what causes the toppings to fall off! Putting toppings onto the pizza first creates a mushy goulash covered dough that is unappetizing and unpleasant to eat. Toppings, as long as they go on top of the cheese,should represent a compliment to and with the cheese.

After concert cancelled. IT was around 11:30 by the time we made it back to hotel. Everything closed near us but Sam's so we said why not and they deliver directly to the hotel room. THE BEST pepperoni pizza we have ever had. Also ordered a chef salad. The salad was very fresh. Will definitely be eating this again on our next visit.

If I could give a negative rating I would. I just walked to The door at 2:50pm on a Thursday. I noticed some people getting high literally parked in front of the store. I pull the door open to restaurant and the people in the car opened the door letting out a cloud of smoke and asked me if was picking up or placing. I said placing and they responded with “were closed” and shut their door. Now if you were closed why would you ask if I placed an order? Really disappointed because I wanted to try this place. Management needs to put some work into this place, clearly your not going to make money with this going on. Lost the business of me forever and only live 1/4 mile away.

If you can order anywhere else in Antioch please do. The owners seem to have changed and this was my go to place for the last year until recently. Just walk in and you can see the difference food is made without Gloves 🤢 I came here before the pregnant girl was making my chicken and eating her own at the same time I wanted to scream ! But that’s a whole different story ! I personally stop eating here after that. But I go to pick up someone else’s food. I get here they don’t even have the order started after 45 minutes 🙄 get in here it’s just pizza chicken cake and pop . They don’t have any dessert they don’t have the pop and the pizza and chicken wasn’t started until I walked in 😑 oh and the lady was just outside on the phone when I pulled up came straight in didn’t wash a single finger before making the food HAIR EVERY where in an Afro and not a hair net in site. I be wanting to support black business & mostly I do. But THEY DROP the ball every time. Presentation matters you walk in the people on they personal cell phones won’t even acknowledge you Until eithe they’re call is over or you speak loudly first !
