Davis Pastry

I grew up eating the cream horns. They used to be phenomenal. The new management didn't buy the recipe, obviously. I purchased several the first week of July 2022, unfortunately, on my last visit home. They left big greasy spots on the cardboard, had a greasy lard like taste and gave us horrible indigestion from indigestible fat. I'm writing this review to let you know something is terribly wrong with the shortening that you are using!!

Best donuts in the union county area. Wont shop or eat another donut unless it's from Davis pastry. Other donuts I've tried just cant compare. Also the prices are very reasonable. Only problem I tend to have with this place is contemplating on what to get so many options and cant go wrong no matter what one chooses just hard. like a kid in a candy store

We visited this bakery while we were on a weekend get-away. The pink cookie are frosted shortbread and very good. I was hoping to get a coconut cake because that isu favorite. They didn't have one but they specially made one for me in time before we left. It was great. Wonderful customer service.

I don’t often stop at this bakery. The quality is somewhat hit-or-miss. Years ago, Davis was the place to get a great donut. Sometimes they’re delicious (when they’re delicious...they’re REALLY delicious)! Other times (like today) the danish was frozen and dry. I would have given fewer stars if it weren’t for the great customer service. When I called to let them know about my experience, they were more than happy to make it right. Hoping for continued progress with consistent quality. I think the new owners are still finding that “sweet spot”. I love buying local and want to be able to do so every time a donut is what I want. I will definitely try again. By the way, the atmosphere and merchandise are great additions! Way to make a hometown business look like the place to be.
