Waffle House

I'm going to start with, I do love Waffle House. Like its one of the places I missed when I lived back on the east and west coast. With that said, this location on the night we went was terrible. The cook made a face and had an attitude when we came in through the front doors and then proceeded to do the same with every other customer who came in. Banging the spatula as if in a tantrum-like protest that he had to work, along with throwing the food when he could on the grill. I ordered my eggs over easy, and they were still raw. Like as soon as you cut into it, it was all white gooey stuff all over the plate. I didn't eat it and had lost my appetite. Needless to say I wasn't happy. This was Saturday night, after we went to the Strawberry festival. Have no intention on returning to this location. Highly recommend to go to another location.

We were hungry, and I had a court date that day, so I found out that the judge wouldn't be in the court room for another 30-45 minutes later, I had been there waiting for 1 1/2 hours already. So my sister-in-law, my niece and I went to eat at Waffle House. Everything was great, the food, service, and the trip was great. We were back at the courthouse 10 minutes before they called my name. You can bank on Waffle House to give you what you want, when and how you want it. Great !!

Amite, La's Waffle House was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. There were two ladies waiting tables, I stood at the counter for at least 20 minutes and was completely ignored. A simple, be right with you, would have made me feel better. A guy walked directly in front of me and started washing dishes, no eye contact at all. Horrible!!!!!

I'd go hungry before I come back to this nasty waffle house I swear this company will hire anyone the waiter (Brittany) couldn't stop sniffing and rubbing her nose she didn't even wash her hands period and always messed up our orders smh I highly recommend u to starve to death before u eat here and they had fly traps on the ceiling before u get to the bathroom that were also full of flies this place just needs to be shut down and demolished and build a Chick-fil-A ✌️

Zero stars were not an option. My boyfriend and I went to this Waffle House at 3:45 am. 1/31/22. 2 black ladies were working and a black couple sitting in there. We are white and when we walked in one of the ladies said "no dine-in we are closed for 30 minutes for cleaning. "The black guy (customer) said they barely made it in time. There was no food being cooked and the customers had no food they were all just talking. Ok. #1 I thought it was a 24 hr. restaurant, not 23 and a half. #2 We felt as though we were being discriminated against.

By far the worst waffle house i have ever been to. I've only been late at night so day shifts may be better idk. The cook didn't know the difference in scrambled eggs and over easy eggs but in his defense he did retry. The bacon was close to raw. The best thing on the plates was the toast. The waffles were so even awful. Not to mention waffle house sure has gotten proud of their foods bc a all star cost close to 10.00 from the 7.00 when I worked in one just two years ago. Last thing is the floors seemed to be mopped with the left over grease bc it was hell walking in and to our table. This place needs serious attention. After several failed attempts to enjoy the place I can say I won't be back.
