Been going there for 20 years now and the food is always excellent from the start.

I'm sure dining upstairs is a different experience than dining downstairs, but as someone who can't climb stairs, I was fine being downstairs.
Service was fantastic. Food was delicious and filling. Would come here just for the bread and oil offered before the food arrives.
Really lovely server; would highly recommend if you are looking for good food with great service.

Stairway to Garlic. I equate good italian food to my olfactory sense of garlic, and this establishment did not disappoint. Climbing the stairs leads to an inviting environment of students, parents, and locals enjoying good service and fine italian cuisine. Happy to have discovered and will return soon.

Best Pasta in Amherst. Prices are more than fair, the atmosphere is so cozy inside and the food is amazing. Love their homemade focaccia and their crazy Alfredo is the perfect balance of spicy and creamy. Their drinks are amazing too. Best date night spot.

Our family loves the atmosphere and food. This is our favorite Italian restaurant! The dipping sauce is phenomenal and we love building our own pastas they way we like! The waiters are exceptional as well!

Nice location 👌🏾. Went randomly and it was worth the try. Our family enjoyed the bread, fries and our pasta dishes. We sat upstairs. Nice view but not that big. This location is petite and low key. Id recommend it for sure. And will be back. Prices aren't that bad $$10+ . Clean and decent location.

The bread they give is amazing, and the raspberry lemon Italian soda was really good! Our entrees were good especially my wife's with the sweet and add spicy sauce.

Flavor! Service! Atmosphere!
I can say nothing bad about my experience here, dinner for two on graduation weekend. The food was excellent, not what you make at home. The waitress was prompt and just the right level of attentive. The building is really cool with old exposed brick, painted ironwork throughout, and a skylight illuminating the second and third floors through the open stairwell.
Not cheap but not super expensive either. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
