Benihana

Disappointed. We went from a noon reservation (birthday) to being seated at 12:45 no service until 1:30 with a packed table of 8 ( no otjer people were in the whole restaurant) We were told a large party came. It was hot, restaurant looked under construction, not clean, the hostess was clueless. Now Derrick, our chef, came to save the day. He cooked all orders to perfection and the table was happy. Derrick made the experience a 10 out of 10. Management should be ashamed. Stop using large parties as an excuse for the lack of order and basic customer service. Do better because you still charge the same amount of money for service.

We arrived around 8:15pm and were told only seating available without a reservation was at the bar, which was fine. The bartender Dasia was very friendly and gave great service. The food was slow to come out of the kitchen but tasted good other than the chicken being a little dry. We would recommend trying one of the local hibachi restaurants before the big chain as we've definitely had better experiences with some local spots.

Best experience in years! I'm not sure why the one in Buckhead has as high rating as this one because overall, this Benihana is better managed. Our experience tonight, sat within 5 minutes of our reservation, waitress Jessica was so nice and hospitable, and the chef was a really nice guy. We never had to wait long for anything we asked for. Drinks were good, food was good and I got a pocky stik in my ice cream. Very happy!

Mo and sadejah Were are the perfect pair not only were they entertaining but the food was amazingly juicy, delicate and tender He definitely gave us a show that was more than worth it. our server was so sweet we didn’t have to ask for a single thing she made sure that we had everything that we needed without us even asking Now my ONLY Complaint was the manager on duty (middle-age Caucasian woman) although it may not have been her intentions We were having such a great time with our cook and she kept coming over asking him questions about his job and how he was entertaining which made the experience go down for us honestly If she had any issues with the way that he was entertaining us she could’ve easily pulled him to the side once he was finished not come to the table multiple time’s at that while we’re obviously having a great time that is how they make their money (tips) and their servers as well , she was literally helicoptering him for no reason that was apparent to us and we did not appreciate that at all

I wanted Habachi and hadn't had good experiences at the Buckhead location pretty much since the pandemic began. So, I took the drive to the Alpharetta location only to be disappointed. The restaurant wasn't that clean. Trash (i.e. Straw paper, napkins and leftover food was on the floor) I had to request a different plate because mine was dirty. The habachi grill was dirty when we were seated (Our Chef had to clean it when he came out) Food was good, but had to request utensils.
