Best donuts I have ever had. They have more than just donuts though, I highly recommend coming in here and getting a couple of everything. Very good prices. Extremely kind staff.

I wouldn't call Max's Donut Shop a donut shop. I would call it a little taste of heaven. I have had many donuts in my life time, however these are very different. It's almost like a cake. Very fluffy, however with substance to them. A friend of mine says they are the best donuts in Allen. I would recommend you to stop by and give them a try.

Great donuts! In town for work and came cross Max's.
They do something with the Chocolate Iced donut that most others don't do. They FIRST glaze the donut, then Ice it with a Milk Chocolate icing. It's the go-to donut. They also have holes that are Chocolate Iced.

Max's Donut shop is one of the best donut shops I have been too. I have come here for years and their quality is second to none. Voted one of the top donut places in the DFW metroplex there is something here for everyone. I enjoy their maple bars but their donut holes are excellent and come with glaze or chocolate. Their cinnamon rolls are as large as an adult's head (which is a steal for the price). I would highly suggest a visit while in town. You wont be disappointed.

when you walk in, there is a modest setting, but as you start to order, you realize how generous and kind the staff is. additionally, the donuts are absolutely wonderful, they are just melt-in-your-mouth good. the perfect amount of glaze to dough ratio. we love this little neighborhood donut shop, and we will certainly be here again.

I've lived in Allen my entire life and this place was an absolute staple in this town! The best donuts around but the shop is now under new ownership and nothing is the same! The smokies were the ones you have to warm up and the breading was hard, not like the buttery melt in your mouth ones from the previous owner. The classic glaze doesn't taste the same AT ALL and the blueberry cake donut tasted chemically. This is not the same Max's. They should honestly change the name.

Hands-down the best glazed donuts you can buy in probably all of DFW. But I’ve ever had anywhere. They are well known for it around here. DON’T SKIP THE OPPORTUNITY!
