Great place, fasts service, good food. The owner? (guy who is there every time that does the cooking and works the register) is very nice, always has a smile and a joke. Clean seating for eat in. Lunch special is a good deal. Happy loyal customer here. Chicken Subgum is never a bad choice for some veggies.

I have been in IL for a year and a half now. I have tried several Chinese restaurants in Crystal Lake area and they weren’t good. I couldn’t find any place like home until I came here. This place is the best I mean best Chinese spot I have been too. And they have fried chicken wings which has been hard to come by too 😋

Best soup around. They put shrimp and vegetables in their hot and sour and egg drop soups. Also the Chicken with Vegetables is one of our favorites. This is definitely better than others in Algonquin. The only downside is their is little room to eat inside. This is more a takeout place, but in a pinch you can eat there. I was considering giving it an excellent rating, but that would only be if there was a place to eat inside that was nice. The food is excellent. Google maps is off by about a block too east. Recent update from my review from 6 years ago. I got the soup and it wasn't nearly as good as it used to be. It was disappointing. I thought the Lily Garden across the street was better.
