Food was pretty inedible after a 45 minute wait after ordering (I think they forgot about us since people who arrived after us were already gone). Omelette was completely raw on the inside. Service was terrible and slow, never came back to check on us. Everything was unseasoned.

This place is the epitome of a great small town restaurant. It's campy like a finer, but the food is like the best stuff that I swear isn't available anywhere else anymore. The staff is fantastic, the food is ridiculously delicious, the coffee was great, and the prices are right. I love this place so much that I almost didn't post a review because I don't want anything to change, or for it to become too busy for me to get a table next time I'm in Alex. But in the end, I realized it's just too good to not share.

We were in town for a long weekend and we're looking for a Sunday brunch spot. We decided to try the Coffee Pot. The caramel roll was amazing and we had a mix of breakfast and lunch. Service was super fast and friendly. We have a conference coming up in a few months and we've already added this as must stop for brunch after the conference.

Went to the restaurant for a late breakfast with a list of things to do. Ordered and sat for 50 minutes and just left. Went there cause north woods was full. I know coffee pot has great food. But time constraints makes it hard to sit for the hour and 30 minutes required to ear. After the experience dont think id return unless I had a bunch of time.

Service was slow, by the time food arrived i was ready to eat my napkin. Coffee was weak and slow for refills. Smallest omelettw i have ever seen, and it was not the right one. Not going to return.

Food is always good at the Coffee Pot. Today was a little disappointing though...all of our eggs were over done, one person asked for American fries but got hash browns and food took over half hour. None of the things I mentioned were worth complaining about because it was busy and all of the staff was very friendly despite the craziness. Will definitely go again soon!
