As much as I was looking forwarding to their food. I am deeply disappointed in their delivery and service and I will never order from them again. Absolutely shocking service. I had to wait for more than 90 mins for my food to be delivered.<br/><br/>Edit: Been 2 hours now and still no sign of the food nor can anyone tell me how much longer it would take.

Mixed review, but overall a 2. <br/><br/>Main problem was the Kaiso salad. This was on the menu for aed 51.45, and is smaller than the starters and fairly average too. They are charging double what it’s worth in reality. <br/><br/>The Ramen was ok.. nothing too special. The salmon ceviche I’m informed was also not ceviche.. however I did not try. <br/><br/>On the other hand, the gyoza’s were fantastic. Shame it was the least crucial part of the meal. <br/><br/>Overall, 2*, due to the above. I had to order another dinner.. which is never ideal.

I’ve always been a Japanese food lover, and when I saw this place I knew it would be very good. I have tried a lot of items from their menu,from sushis,makis, katsu, bento, noodles(dry and soup) and the latest SUSHI BURRITO(game changer) and so far everything was great! 😄 plus the friendliest staffs, this is a place to be. 👍🏻

I used to go to Sushi Central when I was in Abudhabi last year. I was worried that Dubai branch might not have the same high quality as it's not popular, but all the worries have turned to butterflies in my stomach the moment I tried the sole branch.<br/><br/>Mizu soup is so delish and the taste will linger in your memoy for a lobger time. It's cooked right in the perfect temperature. 10/10<br/>We had:California tempora style 10/10<br/>Salmon nigiri. 10/10<br/>Red snapper. 5/10 kind of chewi<br/>Katsu beef. 6/10 was okay but I don't think I will try it again<br/>Beef dumplings 9/10 I loved it so much but the sauce was not that much. It's better with soy.<br/><br/>It's a descent tiny place in a fancy hotel "Damac Canal View", Business Bay. Thoug it's a fancy neighborhood, the restaurant kept its low priced menu with pretty much high standard tastes and services.<br/>

What we went for: Sushi lunch with the girls<br/><br/>Ambience : on the ground floor of Damac maisons, with outdoor seating, seating facing the open kitchen or the road, family seating scattered around the restaurant. Wooden panel led walls embellished with green creepers and dark wood floors with dusty foot prints, tv screens with j-pop playing.. ok it did sort of feel Japanese!!<br/> <br/>What we ordered: happy hour on a Saturday afternoon did skew our orders a bit- everything was ordered in 2s so- chicken gyoza and vegetable and shrimp tempura, scallop and yellow tail fish nigiri sushi, Salmon wrapped hosomaki with spicy tuna and salmon wrapped hosomaki with crabsticks, chicken and leek and Chicken and mushroom yakitori, chicken katsu don and chicken yaki udon and a couple of miso soups!<br/><br/><br/>Price: Aed 220 as it was happy hour<br/><br/>Verdict: I found the place sort of empty and deserted but that suited us fine while visiting with kids.<br/>Service was pleasant and efficient and with the waitress stationed behind us it almost felt like I was at home.. I would just turn around and place the next order..;)<br/><br/>Ok now for the food..<br/>It did feel like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with the gyoza and tempura.. Chicken gyoza was so yummy. That the kids finished the lot and only the empty dish indicated that it had been served at all:), the vegetable and shrimp tempura was piping hot but lumpy and only the peppers and shrimp in big globs made it a bit boring.<br/>Both the sushis - yellow tail and the sweet scallop were good.<br/><br/>Salmon wrapped hosomaki with spicy tuna and crab sticks was an average creation overall.. especially the combination of sake and maguro in one roll feels like a magnificent overuse of excellent ingredients for a mediocre result!! <br/><br/>Yakitori sticks were both fantastic- sweet, gooey sauce drenched chicken pieces with mushrooms and leeks.. went well with all of us!<br/><br/>Chicken Katsu don and chicken udon- just like our almost last minute uncertain orders was lacking in seasoning and felt a bit insipid..<br/><br/>Miso soup was all rite..<br/><br/>The best bit of our visit was that the kids could try a few sushi’s and Japanese dishes, the not so good bit was my husband still did not try the best Japanese that is there to try and that means I risk his aversion for Japanese..<br/><br/><br/>Would I return? Hmm I think now thAt the kids are sorted, I do want to head to an ultra fab sushi place.. so my husband is convinced that there is nothing to beat raw fish and rice in a roll!!

Cute cozy sushi place in business bay <br/>Parking available in the building but have not tried it. <br/><br/>Ordered different types of sushi's and sashimi. All really good.<br/><br/>On Wednesday they have ladies night, wherein all dishes (except platters) are buy 1 get 1 free. What a shame! Found a reasonable priced Japanese place that serves ramen but it's a shame my experience wasn't something that would make me go back. <br/>I order the beef ramen and my husband ordered spicy miso with seafood teppenyaki.<br/>His miso was barely lukewarm let alone hot! I personally preferred the seafood teppenyaki to my ramen even though the salt in the teppenyaki was off the charts!!!<br/>My ramen was terrible really. The broth had no taste, I added salt, pepper, chilli flakes, oil and everything for taste but eventually gave up when I realized the beef too was over cooked and inedible! I asked to change my dish and ordered the beef teppenyaki instead and that was much better than the ramen! <br/>Shame, else I'd love to have this for an office lunch.

Just came across this place randomly! Loved the maki rolls and the ingredients were amazing fresh and crunchy !! To top it all kids below 10 eat for free on Fridays! Amazing food, ambience and taste!!! We just loved the emptiness to eat amazing sushi! No one was here ! Except for staff hehe;) and I saw a lot of home delivery Uber eats! So definitely ppl are ordering here!

The place looked nice but it was really empty, no one else was there. We reached around 9:50 pm no valet service was there the security residence asked us to park in the basement .We went and parked and came up to the restaurant. The service was fast sure no else is there but us.We ordered all the starred sushi in the menu mostly all Salmon mix.It was Wednesday,it turned out that for ladies buy one get one free so I thought we got lucky so we ordered more, the lady told us yes sure it’s ladies night. We ate a lot and the sushi was fairly good. When we finished and asked for the bill ,the lady came to us and said Sorry we won’t be able to give you the ladies night 1 free, we said why? she said: the Manager whom Wasn’t there Refused since it’s passed 10 o’clock and the order was made 10:10 pm. So we laughed on that subject. Moral of my experience is that managers can ruin the whole thing but silly decisions in how they make it. We paid the bill and left, surely by the decision of the unavailable manager we won’t be visiting them anymore. Customers should feel the richness of the restaurant with food and service that will make them happy, but it was the otherwise.

The famous sushi joint from abudhabi is finally in Dubai, and I was so excited to try it because they were the winner for favorite Japanese restaurant (under 400) at the whats on awards 2017. Great service, ambiance and food. If you are sushi lover this is the place to be, and even if you are not a sushi person they have got tons of other stuff too. <br/><br/>Their menu is huge so it took us a while to decide on what we wanted, but the staff was extremely helpful and helped us narrow our options down. Okay for the drinks we had the fresh orange juice and the blended ice coffee, and it was okay because it's just the regular drinks. But the starters were so so so so good. Obviously we started with their spicy edamame, and it's definitely a must have. Next came our super crispy rock shrimps, I'm a shrimp lover so I have to have to get shrimp every time I see it on the menu. Their creamy spicy sauce was so so good, and the shrimps were gone in seconds. Another favorite from their starters was the chicken and beef gyoza (Japanese dumplings) it goes perfectly with their soy vinaigrette. We opted for fried because steamed are too gooey for us. <br/>The tuna tataki is another must have if you are a tuna person. Yup that's all just for the starters. <br/><br/>Now to the mains, our favorites from the sushi were California tempura style (for shrimp lovers), spicy crab and mango, ocean black tiger, and garlic crab spicy mayo. All their sushi was fresh and tasted heavenly. Other then the sushi we loved their chicken Katsu with Japanese curry, their delicious gravy was creamy and perfect and the chicken was tender. From their noodles you guys have to try their beef yaki udon stir fried, its thick wheat based Japanese noodles, with delicious beef strips and veggies. From their teriyaki we loved their teriyaki glazed salmon steak, served with stir fried veggies, garlic spinach, and buttered rice. <br/><br/>Now the the desserts, I wanted to order everything because it all looked so good. I loved all their desserts but my favorite was the fried ice cream roll. It was perfect and fresh, warm and crispy on the outside and vanilla ice cream on the inside. Their banana tempura with chocolate sauce was perfect and it was just for 15 AED (I know crazy right). Their green tea ice cream with mango is a very different combination but believe me it tastes heavenly. <br/><br/>Over all I loved everything, and I will definitely be going back for their chicken Katsu, sushi and heavenly desserts. <br/>

This place is tucked away in business bay in one of the Damac buildings. The staff were super nice and helpful in recommending the best dishes for us to try. <br/><br/>We had a huge range of appetizers, sushi and teppanyaki:<br/><br/>- Edamame<br/>- Crispy rock shrimps: This was really good! I loved the sauce they served with it, their own twist on dynamite shrimps.<br/>- Shrimp and vegetable Tempura<br/>- Shrimp and garlic gyoza: Loved the combination and the taste!<br/>- Salmon ceviche: I also loved this!!<br/>- A huge assortion of sushis! Their pieces are huge!<br/>- Beef Teppanyaki: You cannot miss this if you go there. It was served fresh and it was so delicious!! The portion was huge, the variety of the vegetables that came with it was amazing. You can even have it without rice because of how big the portion was. <br/>- Oreo tempura with ice cream rolls: You cannot miss this, it was great!<br/>- Fried Ice cream Roll: My favourite!!!

My first visit to Sushi Central. The restaurant is located at Damac Canal Views in Business bay. The restaurant has a good indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are really cheerful and will advise you whats best on the menu. Tried various kinds of Sushi and they were great. I loved the chicken spring rolls and the vegetable tempura the most. The cherry Ice tea was amazing. They have some great offers ongoing and the prices are quite reasonable.

Fresh tuna sashimi, great California rolls, we wait a bit for the waiter to come, he seems a bit busy, but I can understand… I took with my friend a mix of sushi to try this new restaurant, some sashimi, maki, miso soup, some bbq yakitori and all of them were delicious, I put 4.5 because I think the yakitori could be slight better, but overall, great food.

I went for business lunch at sushi central, I tried the Crunchy Spicy Salmon and Tuna, which I recommend extremely, it has been recommended by the waiter and I also had some with cucumber, salmon and cheese (Kiri, I think). The food was great, my client was happy, will order delivery at home next time. Sorry for the photo, have only the one when I was waiting outside for my client.

A newly opened restaurant in the Canal Views hotel apartments in Business Bay is a good place for office goers and residents in and around this place. Its proximity to Bay Square is an advantage. The restaurant has good interiors. The food and service could be better though. <br/><br/>For the drinks we called for Cherry Tale Iced Tea and a Lemon Sorbet Iced Tea. The Cherry Tale Iced tea is a sweet base and was refreshing. The Lemon Sorbet Iced tea is tangy and refreshing as well. <br/><br/>In the appetisers we had the Edamame and asked for them to be served spicy. This is something you just cannot miss at a Japanese restaurant. These for sure cannot go wrong and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We then had the Chicken & Potato croquettes which was our favourite from the starters and was the best dish we tried. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was served with a sauce that was soya based and tasted perfect with it. <br/><br/>The appetisers continued with the Shrimps and Vegetable Tempura (Kakiage) and the Shrimp and Garlic Gyoza (Japanese Dumplings). The tempura was good with shrimps coated with vegetables and tasted good. The dumplings though were a disappointment as the he taste of garlic was over powering. <br/><br/>In the mains we called for a Special Bentos, a combo box that has Katsu Chicken with gravy, Vegetable yaki udon noodles, pickled Cucumber salad and Vegetable Spring rolls. This combo box is a meal by itself. The spring rolls were great and the pickled cucumber was nice. The noodles were decent however the chicken used in the Katsu was not fresh and had patches of black. Moreover it was rubbery as well.<br/><br/>We also called for a Yakitori Combo that had  4 skewers of meat, fish and chicken with mixed fried rice. We had the staff giving us incorrect information asking us to choose the skewers from the a-la-carte which we did however when it arrived we were told that this is a fixed combination. On the mixed fried rice, we clearly asked what would be the ingredients and were told that it has mixed vegetables and eggs only with the rice however what arrived was a shrimps, meat and vegetables mixed with rice. The staff conveniently blamed it on the kitchen which was very unprofessional. The chicken here as well was rubbery and over cooked.<br/><br/>After the disappointment we were delighted to end the meal with a Blueberry cheese cake. It was very very good. Cheesy, creamy with a soft base and lovely topping of blueberries.

Very fresh and elegant casual sushi , I tried dine in once and ordered home another time , it s good value for money , it s good quality , delivery was on time as well. I wish they had told us in advance that they have a solution for Parking in the building it self. Overall very happy with this new place

Sushi Central opened its first branch in Dubai last week in Damac Maison Canal Views Hotel Apartment on the ground floor in Business Bay. You can park your car in the Damac Maison Canal Views parking and then validate it at Sushi Central to get the free parking. They currently have 4 other branches in Abu Dhabi.
