N + 1 Coffee

I was vehemently recommended this establishment by a plethora of close friends throughout my senior year of high school. Amidst their constant recommendation, I never possessed the fortitude to expose myself to the intricate, complex, and delicate technique--coffee. Coffee establishments such as Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts tend to burn, or more accurately, singe the coffee particulates as it is extracted. Therefore, the coffee ends up burning and the organic acids/esters are not extracted after temperatures surpass 96 degrees Celsius in order to speed up the extraction process. N+1, however, takes the careful time to prioritize the coffee assembly in order to provide an exceptionally tasting beverage to the esteemed customer. The inside décor cements a welcoming atmosphere that many can enjoy. Also, try the London Fog.

My favorite coffee shop! It's an oasis from all the hustle and bustle, a calm and cool place to purchase a delicious vanilla spice latte. The service is friendly, energetic and welcoming. They're accommodating and always willing to make decaf versions of their coffee. The pastries are always from a local bakery and highly recommend the blueberry muffin if it's available! Tip - get it warmed up.

I live in nearby Lakeland, but I would drive the 30 minutes to Winter Haven just to come to this coffee shop! Super cute and good vibes, the entire setup is just the best. I love their decorations- they literally have plants everywhere, and even a live plant wall! The two gals working the counter were so friendly, like they were really just enjoying their time and making the best of it, they were so cheery it made everyone else in a good mood even if they hadn’t been before, so cheers to them. I got their holiday spiced vanilla latte, which has a blend of spices in it and it was just beautiful, a perfect balance of all the different flavors so it wasn’t overboard or not enough, just right. Their pastries were wonderful, and the everything bagel was exactly what an everything bagel should be. Plus, if you go on a saturday morning this shop is right across the street from the adorable Winter Haven farmers market, the perfect location! Highly, highly, highly recommend this place!

I visit Winter Haven a few times a year for business. Starbucks was my go-to, but after discovering N+1 today, I’ll have something to look forward to during my next trip. Situated across from Grove Roots brewery, N+1 coffee is an extension to the well established Bike Shop. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing because of the mini green house the owner has created inside. Potted plants are strategically placed throughout the space. The decor makes me feel right at home. My buddy, a local business owner and I enjoyed pour overs brewed by Danny as per her recommendations, along with the over night oats with strawberry and bananas. It was the perfect start to my day and a great way to end my trip. As I was leaving, TJ informed us of the CSA in Winter Haven. This made my day. Thank you.
