Stopped at the Bee for a quick pint in the afternoon. Timothy Taylor's landlord was on. Carpark at the rear. There is no food at the moment, unfortunately. Nice pub reasonably priced ale.

So nice to have The Bee back open, will be even better in coming weeks when the restaurant refurb. is complete. A good traditional homely, friendly pub with great local clientele.

The pub itself needs to bring a bit more attention to itself but the food was awesome and speaking to the staff it’s all made fresh by the chef. They asked exactly how we’d like our food and we’re very attentive. Go check them out you’ll be happily surprised.

Stopped in here after biking at Swinley Forest. We didn't book ahead, just turned up. The garden has a reasonable number of benches and pods (undercover igloos) for everyone to sit comfortably and spaced apart. The staff were friendly and the burger was good. Although they ask your preference on how you'd like your burger cooked, they all came out the same - medium. There is a car park on site.

Came here for a Sunday roast which was delicious! Pleasantly surprised to find out they had an offer on roasts £9.95! Normally £13-15. Roast was excellent. Pudding was a little disappointing, for £6 it wasn't a large portion or particularly special. Overall a lovely meal here though!

Three of us went for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious. Two of us had starters of a very good prawn cocktail and a tomato soup, this was followed by two of us having the roast lamb with lots of veg, excellent roast potatoes and Yorkshire Puddings. The other member of the family went for the special of pan fried salmon with a white wine sauce served separately, again came with a mix of vegetables. We were so full after this (the portions were extemely generous) that I am afraid we didn't have room for pudding! We also had three glasses of wine and the whole bill came to £80 including service, which we thought was really good value. We are so sorry that they will have to close because of the impending lockdown, but we were told that they will be offering a takeaway service and hopefully we can support them this way and hope others will too.
