Reviews of Shaw’s

Seem to check off all of the supermarket check boxes and then some. But I found mostly appealing is that the isles had a lot of space and it was easy to navigate without feeling like I was too close to anyone or in anyone’s way. Store was clean, food was fresh, all staff was friendly and helpful, and it was a generally pleasant experience.

This store is absolutely gigantic, and the last place you want to find yourself popping into for a forgotten item or two. Prices are fair, and if you're shopping for a family of 20 and need 378 cereal choices, this is the place for you. It's all in what you want in a grocery store. I give them full credit though for a fast and easy checkout. That's a rare thing these days.

My family has been shopping at the Williston Shaws for around the past 20 years. It can get expensive quick with your items, but i guess that's how it is in grocery stores. Staff are always friendly, especially the pharmacy staff, and especially Maureen! She's so sweet and funny!! Helpful too!! Only things i can really complain about other than the prices is their bagging style and their paper bag quality. The cashiers let all the groceries down the same belt, leading to some items like bread getting squished if you or the bagger aren't quick enough. Also, their bags are rather small compared to bags from other places like Hannaford. They don't rip quite as easily as the Hannaford paper bags or like the plastic ones used to though, so that's nice. Spacious aisles and plenty of selection as well. Overall, pretty nice place!!
