Good basic "does what it says on the tin". Had Sunday roast carvery. Good meat and excellent veg, followed by very nice chocolate fudge cake with generous helping of cream. Quick service and very pleasant staff. Good atmosphere with lots of happy families eating there.

Alas my visit to the woodspring was to attend a Wake. The bar service and buffet laid on was good with staff clean and polite. One will have to visit it again in more jolly times

Lovely carvery. Meat very moist. Dogs allowed in bar so you still carvery in there. Roast pots just like i like them.

Popped in waiting for Chinese Takeaway to open. Friendly staff, good ales not tried food yet. Will return. Kept 10 yr old son happy with pool table, 2 games for a pound! Proper pub, not an MFI showroom.
