Friendly's

Friendly's has greatly improved their menu and made their prices much more family-friendly. I was ecstatic to see that the price of a meal for a family of four was about the same price as going to McDonalds. I was happy to pay a tip to get the sit down experience and have a much better choice of food. I still think Friendly's needs to work on training their servers so that you get consistent service from one location to the next. Our dinner was at a relatively busy time but our server was pretty flaky. Friendly's Ice Cream will always be right up there with the best ice cream in the United States. There are no other major brands that can compete. On occasion there is a small dairy farm that will be competitive on a much smaller scale but never the big competitors. That is one thing that should never change and may keep them in business forever. I wish that I could get it out in the Midwest.

We ordered 2 melt sandwiched, chicken tender meal Each is supposed to come with fries. I recieved only two sides when the order was 4. The melts bread was not toasted, I had to go back to get our orders of fries. There was a fruit fly attached to one of my fries which 1/3 were undercooked. The chicken tenders were good and the done French fries were good. I was given less than 10 soggy waffle fries in a container with stretch wrap around two tops to a to go box. A little managerial attention is needed to improve the quality. I will note this was an online order and we recieved no receipt, it was available online though.
