I have wanted to try this spot for some time and tonight gave ample opportunity. I made reservations over the phone before I came. When I arrived I had to circle to find a parking spot. So many people were out. When I got to the restaurant VJ, our server, sat us and was attentive, funny and nice. The spot was byob and we chose to sit outside. For appetizers we ordered calamari and hummus and pita. The hummus and pita was good. I didn't partake in the calamari but my friend enjoyed it. It was time to order dinner and I went with the falafel wrap and my friend had the salmon. The prices aren't bad at all at the restaurant. My meal was only $11. I enjoyed my meal and the salmon looked good even though I didn't taste it. The experience all in all was pretty good.

I'm a huge fan of their other restaurant Spice Bazaar. So happy La'Vash is just as good! The falafel was perfectly crisped.

Went for lunch the other day. At first the menu seemed a little underwhelming and this may have been due to the simplistic descriptions of sine of the dishes. I recommend speaking with the staff to get the full description of the dishes. I tried the lamb hummus, it was absolutely delicious, something different and unique and so much flavor and texture. The gyros were solid, well made and not drowning in sauce. I tried the spanakopita, zucchini sticks and salad. All fresh and delicious. This place is here to stay, it provides a type of cuisine that has been missing in the area. The food is great, staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable.

If you like inconsistency and random taste this is your place. Otherwise our take out meal was awful. Beef and lamb sandwich was just okay. Fries were inconsistent. Some were heavily seasoned with Indian seasonings which tasted weird. Others were plain which we prefer and were not asked if we wanted seasonings. We ate the zucchini chips were very heavy on the breading And overly fried. I ate a few and they were less than appealing. The third one I bit into had a hot Chile pepper or Chile pepper seasoning and I was on fire. 3 glasses of water and still burning for 20 minutes. We trashed the remainder of the meal. I think left over seasonings are just left out when they prepare your food and it’s pot luck whatever you get. The worst meal I’ve had in a very long time. Never again.

Hi Lavash I ordered take out today and I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed by my experience. It just seemed like it was a bunch of food thrown into a container. It was bland and was just lacking appeal. I have ordered before from Spice Bazaar and that was fantastic. The chicken biriyani was amazing. I was hoping for the same experience at your other restaurant but am very sad to report this. I really wish it could have been better.

Just ate probably one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the Tristate area. The best I have eaten in years anywhere, actually. Amazing, delicious, authentic, homemade flavors, but most importantly ridiculously fresh ingredients. Nice friendly staff. I highly recommend this place.

This modern, cozy and intimate Mediterranean restaurant has come to Westfield to steal our hearts! Serving all my Mediterranean favorites such as falafels, hummus, kebabs and more! I was really impressed with how packed it was for a restaurant just opened and how well the kitchen and service were. For appetizers, we decided to share the Sumac Spiced calamari and Mediterranean style wings. Both apps were super flavorful! The wings reminded me of buffalo wings vs the spiced flavor I was expecting. For dinner, we ordered the beef boti and the chicken kebab entree. Both served with turmeric rice and salad. The meats were so tender and juicy. Pro tip: ask for the white and hot sauce! Drizzle it over your platter! This restaurant is byob so feel free to pick up a bottle of vino! There's only street parking so plan accordingly since it is located on the main strip!

This small ,clean Mediterranean BYOB features large portions of home style food. Served by a friendly and attentive staff. Please note that they do not take reservations andnare first come first served.
