Prezzo

On last Saturday we had dinner in Prezzo with friends. We got table without booking very quickly. Fantastic customer service. Exceptional costumer service from Fation. He made the atmosphere really amazing and we enjoyed our time. The food were delicious. The cocktails were great. Strawberry lemonade was the best lemonade I ever had. However the tables were sticky and really worn-out, with marks all over them.

I enjoy visiting Prezzo, it is one of my favourite restaurants. I recently visited with my daughter, it was a Saturday evening so I booked prior to going. On my arrival the restaurant was only half full which surprised me. We ordered our drinks and then she came back and took our meal order. We could see our drinks sitting on the bar. We did eventually receive our drinks just before I was about to say something, then within minutes our starter arrived. The food was nice. Plenty of it. The staff were very friendly but the service was very slow. They didn’t look short staffed, seemed to have enough staff walking around. I do feel that Prezzo is not as buzzy and busy as it used to be but that could be the cost of living crisis for people. I will still be visiting Prezzo because I enjoy their food!

Thank goodness for Prezzo. Exhausted after a day out and caught in the evenings torrential rain, we parked up and went looking for food at Lakeside. Prezzo was totally hidden down the end of the row, and only after dismissing everything else we found it. The building work to fix rotting walkways and sketchy looking refurbishments make it almost impossible to spot. The whole meal was enjoyable, from the friendly welcome to the great food. Prezzo always has a couple of new and interesting things to try, can't remember which pizza I had but it was very good. The staff kindly boxed up our kids desserts, it was getting late and tensions were starting to fray. Thanks for a great meal 👍🏻

This was the last restaurant located next to Vue Cinema, along the broadwalk. Went to Prezzo as a party of 2 for early Dinner, about 5 pm on the 2nd of May 2022. We were seated at a very nice table, away from the masses, so had plenty of space . Elena was our server. We ordered the Seabass and the Tre Carni Calzone accompanied by House fries, Caffe Latte and Apple juice. I asked for my Calzone to be made spicy with red chillies and that was done. The sea bass was very nicely cooked as was my Calzone and both were presented nice and hot. It was a really enjoyable dining experience. Well done and a big thank you to Elena for her great service which added to our enjoyment.

I managed to book a table. I had to book at least 5 days in advance and I could only get an 8.45pm table. The eat out help out really made a difference to our bill. We only ended up paying £13.50 for a 3 course meal. I really liked the food. You could tell it was freshly made and came out of the kitchen so quick. I would definitely go prezzo again. The waitress and other staff were so friendly, even when we went the wrong way to get out of the restaurant.

The set menu needs improvement. I understand that set menus offer limited choice but having dined with a set menu in 4 other restaurants just beside this place, I am not practically impressed. Not a single beef or chicken menu. Very disappointing. The decor and ambience is great and staff quite attentive. The food was actually very good and the portion size very decent. With a revamped set menu this would be a five star.
