I parked my truck at the truck stop and took my hungry nephew to eat at Dos Amigos. He originally wanted McDonald's but I'm glad he changed his mind.
I ordered Camarones a la Diabla and some jalapeno poppers. My nephew ordered a Seafood Burrito. They didn't skimp out on the shrimp whatsoever like most restaurants. The poppers were delicious as well. My nephew loved his burrito.
On our way out we saw the novelty store and had to check it out. Bought my nephew a shirt and I bought a "Weed, CA" city sign. Definitely worth our time. Hopefully I will come through again in the future.

definitely a UNIQUE stop off of I-5. Mexican food is amazing! Rice, meat, drinks are on point. Very authentic taste for a family owned shop so far north. I really enjoy their set up. Take time to take in the great food, and an amazing view of Mt. Shasta.

Place was straight garbage ! Not Mexican food in the least! Not fresh at all! Don’t order fish, nor chicken … frozen for probably weeks! Only thing worth eating is the carne asada ! But that’s it! Bottled beer is cool though .. Can’t believe the comments of best Mexican food they’ve ever eaten ! Damn feel sorry for them !! 😂

I was told be careful the plate is hot!! Funny!! Because my food was at best warm. And some of it cold. As was the plate. She never came back to see how we were. Or to be asked to nuke my enchiladas. My husband enjoyed the burrito he got. Not going back....

The worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. The margaritas tasted like carbonated water. The taquitos were not taquitos. I’m not sure what I ate. Not round crispy

Food is decent at best I have been through weed many times and stopped here twice. The food is not that good but the decor is unique and very homie. If your looking for something outside of chain fast food and truck spot fried food this might be a good option but you will not be blown away by their food.

Besides an awesome waitress, the food was great! The jalapeño poppers were real good with this sweet red sauce and the chili verde hit the spot!!!!
Forget the big chain restaurants, SHOP LOCAL!
