We went early on a Friday night and sat in the bar area at a high top. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We ordered our food and it came out quickly and was awesome. I used to come here all the time, years ago when I worked in Webster, it was a great place then and is also still great now! They have a large outside deck if you want to enjoy the warm sunny weather while you are out for a drink and bite to eat. You won't be disappointed here, there's a reason they have been in business forever!

It was just meh’ this time. Didn’t care for the food I ordered (Irish beef stew (chewy new) bland taste. The bartender tried but looked like she was on a break. Eating and hanging out with a regular. Little things like having to get my own napkins and salt/pepper off another table. This was an outlier however, I’ve been here before and it’s usually a positive experience. This time it wasn’t, but I’ll be back.

Tried Flaherty’s a few times for lunch when I worked out on Webster. Food was always good and so was the service. Their Potato Skins and Stella Bleu Steak Salad are my Favorite. 👌🏽

I wasn't present when supposed incident occured. But it is odd that 24 people all wrote a negative review at same time about someone denied service due to a service dog and Many of these reviewers were going on second hand info and weren't even present. And the actual person denied service made no review. Showing paperwork proving actual service animal should be mandatory as a service vest is not proof. Anyone can purchase one online.

Very consistent good food. Try the Ruben, Prime Rib, or a burger. Prices have gone up a lot lately, but a good place to eat and have a few beers.

I was there with my cousin, whom I hadn't seen in a long time. We talked about 3 hours. We felt very comfortable to do so.
We didn't feel like we were staying too long. It was great. The food, Shrimp Alexander and Shrimp Scampie were excellent.

Flaherty's in Webster is among my favorite restaurants. Even when something has missed the mark or has been overcooked or fried, they will make it right.
For the most part, the food is delicious, and the wait staff are professional, friendly, and courteous. It's always a pleasure to get a meal here. Their lobster bisque is great. You don't want to miss an opportunity to try it.

Grew up in this place, great local establishment! I think the best wings in the city of Rochester. Great beer selection. Family owned still. I enjoy a classic Buffalo Hot Sauce or mix of Buffalo Hot and Sweet Asian sauce. Sweet and spicy on those fat juicy wings! My Dad gets the Quesadilla, packed with good stuff. Tell em Dave sent ya!

Good food with big portions. The service is hit or miss which can really break the experience. I enjoy doing take out and going in non busy times. The free popcorn is always great!

From out of state but often in the area visiting family. We came here late night after a full day of driving then visiting with family. Loved the patio setup of a fire pit on one end and a water feature on the other, very welcome due to an almost-autumn chill in the air. Steve was a very personable server and the food was good. My spouse liked his steak. I will always recommend the spumoni bomba dessert. Their lobster bisque is great, except we didn't order it this time around. Get the Irish Coffee with both Bailey's and Jameson, you won't regret it.

Fish fry not so good today. Usually great but today not as good. Hope they get it together again soon. If today was the first would not go back.

Where, oh where, did the Irish go?. Unfortunately, Flaherty's has become a victim of its own success. What do I mean? They have an extremely large following that visits very regularly. The parking lot is always full. There are drinkers that stay until closing every Friday and Saturday.

Because of these factors. Flaherty's has been extremely slow to change - they obviously haven't felt the need to. Their menu hasn't been revamped in years and their food quality is a result of overcrowding and a small kitchen. Service is slow; the hostesses are young and tend to be overwhelmed on the weekends. If you come for the dining, be prepared to wait. Come to think of it, if you come for the bar be prepared to wait for that, too.

All of this is very disappointing because I used to love, absolutely love, Flaherty's. It used to be my second home because it's right around the corner. The layout is classic with dark woods and greens. I used to get my Irish up at the bar with a Jameson's and ale chaser, but no longer. When they first put the bar in, all those years ago, it was a true Irish pub with a little Celtic tuneage now and again, but no longer. Now it's no different than any other neighborhood bottle-bar. Back in the day I could sit at the bar and converse with the tender for a spell while I sipped and relaxed, but no longer. If you can get a drink from the tender there's nowhere to sit. There's no peace. There's no justice anymore.

Don't get me wrong. I don't begrudge Tim and Terry their success, I really don't. I just want my old Flags back. Can't we start over Tim and Terry? I want things back the way they used to be.

The bisque has become, over time, way too thick with too much cream; there are so many other options around town for bisque. The fish fry is better at Wegman's right next door. The pub fare is well. . .just pub fare. Wraps and sandwiches and blah, blah, blah. They used to have a wonderful Sunday brunch a long time ago and it was extremely good, but now it's gone. And where, for the love of all that is holy, is the bangers-and-mash? Where's the soda bread? Where's the shepherd's pie, the corned beef, the leek or Irish potato soups? Corned beef and cabbage only on St. Patty's? Please, oh please, put the Irish back up on the wall.

HOWEVER, if all you're looking for is an appetizer or maybe a chicken Caesar wrap with a domestic ale, then Flaherty's is still your place. It's location is excellent and the only place in their immediate area where you can get it. And the prices? Ouch, babe. Don't even get me going on their diminished imported beer selection.

I'm hurting myself saying this. I really am. Flaherty's has been my Irish pub of choice for so long, but no longer. I just can't take it anymore. Now with the senior living center across the street the clientele is not only shoulder-to-shoulder, but very . . . let's just say they like to take their time.

Oh well. To everything, turn, turn, turn . . . there is a season, turn, turn, turn. Flaherty's . . . you and I had so many special, happy times together, but that is all in the past now. I will always hold a special place in my heart for you, but I must move on. I will think of you as I cry in my drafted Irish ale, down the street at MacGregor's.

Glad it's here in Webster. I hate driving into the city (in spite of the delicious restaurants there that call to me in my sleep)...I get lazy at times. This is one of those restaurants that makes me so happy it's nearby. It's not culinary genius, but it's pretty consistent good food. AND they have lobster bisque...excuse me I have to wipe the drool off my mouth...ok there we go. The beer selection mixes up and they have different types of Rohrback's (sp?) too which I enjoy trying (sorry I can't really drink most major beer flavored water that most of the country drinks).

Flags is one of those places where I can take my mother, friends, date night, really anything too. One of those few restaurants that really works for just about anything you're looking for. Great atmosphere and they mix up a bunch of specials too so there's always something different to try out.

Really good food. Each time we have visited we have had great food! The club sandwich and chicken parm sandwiches are GREAT!!! The lobster bisque is delicious. The staff is ok...bartenders aren't always friendly and have left the bar a few times after waiting a LONG time to be served. The food brings us back though.

They make a good fish fry but oddly enough they serve beer battered fish fry on Thursday - not friday. On Fridays they have breaded fish fries ... weird. They used to grill the buns for their burgers, and used better rolls... HELLO your customer's do notice this stuff. With that said their burgers are good, Lobster Bisque really good, have had just about everything on their menu and was happy with my meal. Think out of 20 years I've had to send my meal back maybe 3 times - not a bad record.

Bartenders aren't friendly... Especially for an Irish bar.
