Baja Fresh

I really like Baja Fresh and I will go out of my way to eat at their restaurants. Baja Fresh does a good job of making sure that their restaurants serve high quality food and that their staff is friendly and competent. I'm huge fan of the grilled vegetables that Baja Fresh will put in their burritos. It is pretty rare to find a Mexican restaurant that will fill a burrito with low carbohydrate fresh vegetables and chicken to create a relatively healthy meal. I also like the fresh salsa bar. Water is the healthiest thing to drink but they have very small plastic water cups. I went out to my car and got my very large iced tea glass so I could drink the proper amount of water.

9/3/14 Being a Concord resident I'm spoiled by the authentic taquerias on Monument, so I honestly wouldn't stop in here for a taco on my lunch break, but I would definitely recommend the place for a catered lunch! Our office has ordered from Baja Fresh twice since they've moved into this location (and a few times before when they were up the street, but I think they've improved since they've moved!) We've had a great experience with both orders. Every little customization was remembered, our orders were correct, and even placing the order over the phone was simplified by helpful employees. I have picked up the large lunches (usually serving between 10 and 20 people and they have been on time and had the food packed carefully and in easy-carry bags and boxes. They provide the salsas and limes and cilantro, but have allowed me to fill up a couple extra containers as well. That's appreciated when you are spending between $100 and $200 on tacos! The food has been fresh and everyone in our firm has agreed it's "better than we remember". I think it truly has improved. We usually order the fajita fiesta, and from time to time throw in some taquitos, salads, and even churros. Taquitos are awesome! Great with their guacamole. Churros are probably my least favorite menu item. The fajita meats have been tender and they allow you to mix chicken and beef - we love all the sides too (beans, rice, cilantro Caesar dressing!!) I'd definitely recommend Baja Fresh for an office lunch or even if youre hosting a party and don't want to hassle with cooking yourself. It's nice to have a reliable place that gets our orders right the first time.
