Gyg is the best Mexican place in Wagga! Also have amazing tasting food and friendly customer service, we are frequent eaters at gyg because the food has been amazing every single time! Definitely feeling the temporary close 😞 but cannot wait for them to reopen to see the new renovations and taste the good food again!!

Fresh Mexican, frozen margaritas, quick and friendly service. How can you go wrong? Highly recommended the grilled chicken burrito bowl with sour cream and guacamole extras. The kids meals are great. Cute little "toys" too. We got some lovely magnets and temporary tattoos. The seasoning on the chips is tasty, but the kids found it a little spicy.

I WONT VE BACK UNTIL THINGS CHANGE! This place has been my favourite for as long as I can remember. I have been a regular customer visiting here at least once a week, usually more, to order food for myself and my partner. While this is not cheap we rationalised this by understanding that the quality of service and food they provide is worth it. Since the lockdowns this year their quality has plummeted! Our order is always wrong, when I call them to discuss this they never answer the phone. With us living out of town this is a nuisance as by the time we get home it’s not worth turning around to get the things they forgot to put in the bag! Initially that’s mistakes only occurred when they were really busy (previously working in hospitality myself I can understand this) but now there could be nobody else in there and our order still gets messed up. It may sound harsh but if you choose to go here make sure to triple check your order is in the bag before walking out the door!!! Photo: I ordered a mini enchilada with the guacamole and salsa on the side. There is no guacamole, the salsa was still put on the enchilada and the sauce that is usually in there is completely missing?!

I've updated my review. The last couple of times we have had food from here lately has been disappointing. There seems to be a lack of flavour that was once there but now has gone. The service is friendly and the shop always looks clean however the food has become lackluster in my opinion, I cannot put my finger on what has changed. Perhaps it's been a series of small changes. It's a shame, but perhaps they will make positive changes in the future to get the complex flavour back.
