Beautiful historic accommodation, excellent central location, we walked everywhere. The food was tasty farm produce, kids loved the milkshakes and home cured bacon in front of the fire. Staff were attentive, enthusiastic about providing a welcoming unique atmosphere. We hung out on the hammock watching sunset over the park. Highly recommended for a getaway.

We only went for something light. Had a very lovely cheese platter with a mulled wine and finished off with a really nice mocha and latte. The service was wonderful and very polite. We will be back for a meal. Highly recommend. Thank you.

We went to Mates Gully Restaurant to farewell a long time work mate. What a wonderful place and atmosphere. The staff so helpful and the meal just beautiful. We will be back soon.

Visited just the Restaurant. Lovely service. Great ambience in a traditional set up with the background music and plenty of plants around.
In spite of being in the heart of the city, it's very calm and peaceful to sit outside, if you see large groups dining inside.
