Cha Community

My favorite boba place ever!!! Their drinks are so good and so consistently well-made. I love the variety of drink flavors and milk alternatives that they offer. I can get my usual (the Milky Way) or change it up whenever I want and know my drink will taste delicious no matter what I order. We try to stop by every time we come to/through Waco. Definitely worth the price and the drive!

Good quality boba tea shop--just like you'd get in a large city with a sizeable Asiatown. Large interior with PLENTY of seating. They have a couch and comfy chairs for hanging out and tables for getting work done. Not only is it a peaceful place to relax, but they have really good drinks. They're the only drink place in town where you can taste lavender in the lavender drinks! Thanks for the kind service and letting us hang out for 2hrs ☺

I have loved Cha Community since moving back to Waco in 2020! Their values of community, diversity, and courage are so easy to see when you walk in and also feel in energy. I haven’t found another place in Waco that feels as peaceful and safe for all people as Cha Community. I’ve gotten to experience amazing and authentic boba and dumplings and learn more about Asian culture through this time at this business and found an amazing community of friends. I visited the new Temple location yesterday and IT IS BEAUTIFUL. I love that one of my favorite places is expanding to offer a safe place with amazing values to other communities. Great location in downtown Temple to grab a drink and visit other local stores!

My wife and I went to Cha Community's dumpling making class (March 2022). This was the first class they've had since the start of the Covid pandemic and our first time visiting Cha Community. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Devin (who owns Cha with his wife) did a great job giving a brief history of dumplings in his culture, how Cha Community came to be, then taught us all how to fold dumplings. After we all folded dumplings for a while, the staff started cooking them and gave us a tutorial on pan frying dumplings. Several staff came around and gave hints and extra attention for those of us struggling with the folding technique. The finished product tasted terrific and we all looked a little more like dumplings when we left than when we started! We all left with a little goody back that included Devin's family dumpling filling recipe. We'll go back to Cha Community for tea and a dumpling box more often and we'll definitely try to get friends together to fold dumplings again!

Love this local business and their quality drinks/food. My go-to’s are the Vietnamese Coffee and dumplings. I would really like to emphasize that there’s an experience for everyone here, whether you’re a student looking for a place to study, hosting an event that needs catering or looking to gather with some friends, there’s something for everyone!

Waco Cha is amazing! They not only have the best boba tea, they are a great example of CommuniTea. Best drinks and highly quality tea with options of dairy free. My kids also love it, they had the galaxy lemonade this week and they loved it. Customer service is always great, you can tell that everyone values the customers. Waco Cha business strategy is always making sure that they are engaging with their customers/community and they are transparent about who they are as a business. Because they engage with their customers so well, customers are somehow fully aware what's going on and what's new! It's exciting that the store front is finally open, we cannot wait to be able to enjoy the handcrafted, organic bubble tea inside the beautiful store once the pandemic storm is over. It is impressive how this business sets the bar high in marketing and community involvement in the city of Waco. This is why Waco Cha customers are so loyal because it's more than tea, it's CommuniTea.
