This is the best cupcake I ever had!!! The absolute best in Waco. The icing was nice, thick, and sweet. A perfect ratio of icing to cupcake. Every bite was delicious. I don’t usually like cake or cupcakes but man this was good. My mom had got these pecan coconut cupcakes and I loved everything about it, I ate 2 in one sitting lol. I would most definitely recommend this place!!!!

My first encounter with Sweetness Desserts was about 3 weeks ago. I had the Coffee Toffee Caramel cupcake. It was the best cupcake I have ever tasted. I was looking for a bakery to bake a cake for a birthday party. I was really considering Sweetness Desserts and took my daughter with me today to taste the cupcake for her opinion. Upon arriving we noticed a fly and gnats in the case where the cupcakes were kept. We were told that flies are a problem during the summer. This was a totally turn off to my daughter and I so maybe we'll return in the winter. I gave it three stars because that cupcake was delicious. However, I'm looking for another bakery to bake the party cake because we don't do bugs!

This bakery is sublime. I love the way their cake is flavorful, and the icing is the sweet part. I’d eat their pumpkin spice cupcake on the regular (even without the excellent cream cheese cinnamon icing). I want the recipe. But, I will just have to stop by when in Waco. You can definitely get your natural pumpkin spice fix here. Highly recommend

Sweetness Desserts did our wedding cakes and they were phenomenal! They not only tasted amazing but looked beautiful! We had multiple guest tell us we had the best wedding cakes they had ever tasted. Laura and the staff at Sweetness were so great to work with and we recommend using them 1000 times over! Thank you, Sweetness Desserts - we love you!

So, I did my best to explain instructions on a custom cake I wanted via email. With sizing, color, etc. The cake on left is what I wanted a duplicate of, minus the brown icing color and no pecans on the top (wanted it changed to green like the carrot stem). The cake on the right is what was made for me... Don't get me wrong, it looks classy and elegant and fancy, but that's not really the cake I wanted to pay for because it wasn't what I was expecting. It tastes decent, the design just isn't what I specified for it was my only issue with it. Maybe it's because I do graphic design for a living that I'm so peculiar about what I want a cake to look like - but it shouldn't be hard to get a vivid orange and green food coloring to make it look similar, is it? So now I'm off to place an order at another bakery and will be as detailed as I can with the simple instructions I have.
