Great experience! Assembli reached out to our office and offered us a free lunch on them, for all of our staff! They got there exactly when they said they would, with hot and delicious pizza. Our entire staff loved it, and we had no pizza left over.

Totally recommend, great staff to chat to, and excellent service.

Assembli is located by Broadway and Cambie, an easy walk from the Canada Line. It seemed to be pretty new and it was comfortable in there, with super high ceilings and spacious seats. It seemed like a restaurant that would be really busy at lunch with office workers, but it was quiet when we came in the evening.

I ordered through an app and specified my allergies. The pizza came covered in the allergens. I didn't find out until after ingesting a few bites and beginning to react. I tried to call back but no answer. After calling 5x and leaving a message, I sent an email. No reply to that either. So I waited 20 minutes and called again. Finally an answer. They agreed to remake the pizza but I had to submit another order through the app, hoping that I wouldn't be double charged. This order took another half hour to make, and at the last second they called me and told me they were out of vegan cheese. Overall so disappointed in the service. I'll now be spending the rest of the day reacting to the bites of the pizza that had my allergens on it because the kitchen did not have the conscientiousness to actually read the notes I wrote (which, by the way, were clear and specific.) Not really their fault they ran out of vegan cheese but definitely the shitty icing on the shitty cake.

Newly opened in Cambie Village is Assembli, an eatery specializing in build-your-own pizza and salad all at one price. Located at 2325 Cambie Street, Assembli features an open kitchen were you can see your desired pizza or salad literally assembled before your very eyes.

Assembli is a new restaurant that lets you create your own pizza or salads at one set price rather than annoying add ons that will cost you. I was invited to come try a few of their creations to see how they differentiate themselves among the other restaurants in the area. When you get here, you can walk up to the counter to put in your order and then pick up on the side.

Disclosure: All food and beverages were complimentary, but all opinions are based on my own personal experience. Last week, we were invited to check out the newly opened Assembli on Cambie between West 7th and 8th near Broadway station. The focus on two main items: pizzas and salads. What differentiates them is the fact that their pizzas and salads are one set price and you can add as many ingredients as you want. This means the customer doesn’t end up with an expensive meal at checkout, and also makes it easier for the staff as they don’t need to constantly keep track of what “additional” items you got. 11 inch pizzas are $12.99 and salads come in regular size for $10.99 and large for $12.99.

Today I was invited as media to check out a pizza and salad joint with a very appealing concept. This is Vancouver’s first and only restaurant that allows you the ability to customize your meal without consequences. Customization of all and any ingredients at one flat price. If you didn’t want to budget to have things prepared your way, you didn’t have to here; and neither does the employee behind the counter, having to figure it out. This is a cleaver concept, sure to engage loyalty from an improved customer experience.
