I went with my mum a few weeks ago and it was our first time going since it changed from Kitty's. While I noticed some things were different the important stuff was the same. The food was great, the service was lovely, and in typical fashion we were so full we needed to take the rest home! The cakes are, as always, incredible and you can tell a lot of effort went into them!

Lovely cafe, not cramped like some of the other local cafes. Staff very friendly and welcoming, attentive. Food cooked fresh with quality ingredients. Reasonable prices. Clean toilets. Breakfast served til 11:30 am then itโ€™s lunch menu (jacket spuds, paninis etc). A large selection of homemade cakes.

Lovely place! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent, we had a large order with different items and they were all perfect. We will definitely return in the future. Even spotted a heron on the river from the basement!

The owners Val and Sam are lovely. Always genuinely interested to see and speak to customers. They hire local people to give them a chance and try to use local produce as much as possible. They are dog friendly and are very accommodating as much as can be around dietary requirements. Been going for years and it feels like visiting friends. Very fair pricing so you can go with family and children.

Lovely ladies here. Really nice food. The service was excellent, everything served with a smile and they checked to ensure we were happy. They offered to help with our pram and bring over a highchair as well.

Varied menu with lots of choice. Enjoyed a falafel paninni with salad and a huge beans on toast. Fries were an added extra. Staff were very friendly and checked our food was ok. As it was relatively quiet we were seved quickly. A good place for a lunch after walking.

Lovely visit to Fika today. I sat outside with my dog and a lady came and sat on the other table with her 2 dogs. We had a lovely long chat. The lady went inside to pay and I watched her dogs. She came back and told me that she had paid for my order. She said it was so nice to have had such a lively chat and that people dont do that anymore. She made me cry as I've had such a horrible couple of months with one thing and another. Thank you to this lovely lady for making such a lovely gesture you are wonderful. I will make sure I pass on your kindness.

Really nice and friendly place. We turned up at very short notice as a table of 6 adults and 2 children and they managed to accommodate us. Food was lovely, all arrived swiftly and all together. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful, definitely returning.

Brilliant service, especially noticed for special events. We had our 30 person wedding breakfast (afternoon tea and pizza later) here and we are very happy with everything. Lovely management and staff. Very tasty food. Beautiful setting.

Lovely place to sit and have a drink or meal. I had a full breakfast which was nicely presented and tasted great. The host is very friendly and is local to the village. It is a split level cafe with plenty of room upstairs and down. The cafe is next to the river Tame and adjacent to the canal and park and there are views of all these features from the windows. I have eaten at fika several times and have never been disappointed. The cafe has adequate toilets and you can pay with a card. There are several car parks in the surrounding area. We came across this cafe in the first place after being treated very sloppily at abaco ,a more popular cafe up the road where we were left waiting g an hour then given cold food. I will continue to frequent this establishment anon.
