Publix

I often come to this particular Publix , it's close to my house then it's usually good service, clean store. . Today I was there around 7 in the evening I had a small amount of items I said hi to the cashier she did not respond , Maybe she didn't hear me because of my mask . And I think she was also trying to talk to the person that was bagging . I finished my order and she quickly handed me my receipt, still didn't say anything. The person that was bagging. Said thank you and have a nice evening. I know it's a small thing but in most places you expect some kind of greeting . This will not stop me going to Publix but I just thought I would share that today was not what I expected . Cashiers name was Aaliyah

There was a time when I was happy to shop here. I had the worst shopping experience ever. I ordered 2 platters online. One fruit and the other sandwiches for a gathering. I had a 1pm pickup time. They hadn't even started on my platters. I was told 5more mins several times. I then went to the courtesy desk. I spoke with a manager that really tried but all was an epic fail!!! The sandwiches wasn't even the 3types that I ordered and the fruit was so badly arranged that it looked as if I dipped in it before taking it to the gathering. Well, I was lied too from all the staff and even the manager herself. I am/ was a frequent shopper! I saw through the lies! No condiments for the sandwiches per request. Look at these pictures. Nothing was close to same level. For the extra 50 mins of waiting and making me late for co-worker pre-surgury cancer gathering. Watching the entire deli staff play/ dance and so non- chalant was the worst not to mention staff with boxers, yes undergarments showing. Smh!!! Never again....

I have been shopping at this location for a little over 2 years now. For the holidays I visit this location instead of my neighboring store, because they have better rapport here and I've had good experiences with my orders being prepared and read on time and as I requested it. Parking is usually an issue, but that is the case with all Publix locations in my opinion. I usually park on the back wall or in front of an adjacent business and just walk. But I did notice this weekend that this location does not have self checkout, which increased the wait time because cashiers can only handle one customer at a time, and people are rarely prepared to cash out even though that is the purpose of a cash register. I normally give this location a 5 star but I had to edit my review after my experience with them bakery this past weekend. I was glad they received my online order that I submitted I even called to be sure they had. When I arrived to pick it up it was ready and prepared. It was not decorated as I requested but I didn't complain I just decided to fix it myself when I got home. When I arrived home, I realized they didn't give me the cake cutter, so I had to leave to go purchase one. When I returned I fixed the cake to my liking and enjoyed my sons birthday. Now it has been 1 day since my son's birthday. I go to slice the cake and the cake and icing are stiff, very firm and take a good amount of force to be cut through. This is with a purchased cake cutter with blades. When the piece is finally cut away from the cake, it falls over and makes a heavy sound. Now as I'm trying to extract another piece the entire cake is falling apart, because I had to exert so much force because the cake it hard. I placed the order in advance yes, but that didn't mean make my sons cake and let it sit for days before I picked it up. Looks like I'll be finding another bakery for holidays.
