Well, it isn't Speedy's anymore. Oscar sold it. It is now Las Palmas. It seems the new owners respect how it was before. Many of the things that were, still are. However, there are a lot of improvements as well. I believe Oscar was burned out and winding it down. I had noticed the salsa and queso had gotten thinner and thinner. Now that it is Las Palmas, these things are thick and harty again. Their meats have a richer flavor without all the greese. We will continue to go back. ---------‐------------------------------ They have a new menu that is simplified from all the numbers. You can still get the dishes you loved, but they are more descriptive and less numarical.. ------------------- On our latest few trips back, they were dispensing with the order line and are now having customers choose their place to sti and be wIted on at their table. There were many new faces there, and we ordered, ate, and paid in that sequence. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to genuinely want us to have a wonderful dining experience.. Recently, I have noticed an additional quality of freshness in the food. Not that it was ever bad or anything, but in the past, it seemed like some of the items hsd bren sitting in a hot box for some time. This time it all seemed very fresh. I got the chili relleno dinner with double rice, and they actually gave me 2 on the plate. They were quite spicy. I know it would be too hot for many, but I loved the heat. There was a sign to join their announcement club. It saved us 35% on the bill. This promotion indicates it will last until August 23, 2023. The catch is that when the discount is sent to your phone, there are only 30 minutes to use it. So, don't run it before you get there. I got a notice after signing up for their texts. It requested my birthday. After giving it, I was told there would be birthday specials for my birthday month. As it happens to be this month, I was treated to a fried ice cream. It was tremendously good. I highly recommend it. I have updated some of the pictures to more accurately reflect how they are prepared.

When it was Speedy: Loved (with a passion) the red salsa served with the chips, service was excellent during our lunch experience. Food came fast, pipping hot and with great flavor, the salad was extremely fresh, the enchiladas my husband had were busting with chicken to our delight and my beef flautas were on point, the rice was excellent; super fluffy and flavorful and the refried beans tasted amazing. Affordable prices. We will definitely return and recommending to family and friends. Now: Definitely not the same, everything changed & not for good. I was a regular (3-4 times a week), not anymore. Sad to see a great place going down like that with new owners.

coming from Chicago it's hard to find a good place to eat here in Tulsa, I have to say Food was delicious and service was great. Definitely coming back for more. (Update) New owner this place is still okay the workers are really nice but the food changed. It's not as good as it was before. New cooks. But I'll give they were really nice to me and my family.

The food is good every time we come here. Always hot, always fresh, a good variety on dishes offered. They have a good children's menu complete with hot dogs. The price is about average, nothing to complain about. Some of the booths & tables could use a little overhaul but they are clean & that is what is important. Just good food at a good price. Would definitely recommend!
