Smoke squad is by far the best place to get any type of meat. The owner is amazing at what he does with his food and is a absolute craftsman at meat. There is beer and inside area and the portion sizes and taste are without a doubt untouchable. If you want quality meat look no further come to smoke squad

Got the 1/4 chicken thigh and tri-tip. The chicken was amazing! The tri tip was so juicy and also delicious but could use just a little seasoning..they have a spicy bbq sauce that compliments it perfectly for me. Slaw is unique and a definite try.

I would rate his brisket right up there with Matt's BBQ but not better than Matt's. The tritip was just ok- mines better :) but seriously it's worth the trip for the brisket. Can't vouch for other sides but the greens were really good.

consistently solid bbq options, w a varying menu of selections and beers w an attached venue w tvs.
the sides are solid, and the meat is juicy and top quality. the price is perfect (poss value) on meat but overvalue sides.
while it doesn't always feel like the freshest result (I've had my bun be cold and lifeless) I feel like if they got out of the truck and into a kitchen I would 5 star and be a reg at this joint!

No joke, born and raised Texan here with VERY high bbq standards. The brisket sandwich was absolutely off the chain.
It was notably the best bbq I've had in Portland after living here for 5 years.
All the options are good, but don't overlook the brisket sando.

Fantastic BBQ, the brisket was excellent and the fat was melt in your mouth. The pulled pork was flavorful without bbq sauce and was even better with. Best part was the white bread they offer with their food which goes perfectly with bbq meat and sauce. Highly recommend

Oh my goodness check out these left overs!! Fantastic bbq and sauces to which we never say! Tell you what, everything you want is right here and all around. We are thrilled for we needed a place near us! Now we have a place to always go too! They are building a business next to it! A restaurant to goin and enjoy! We can’t wait! Thank you awesome food. Slaw too and beans yesss yummy in our tummy!

First time coming here. It’s a bit hidden so you can’t see it from the road but I’m glad I found it ! I’m a big fan of bbq. And this 10/10!! ribs were so good. Meat fell right off the bone and had lots of flavor! Side were good too ! Cant wait to come back and try more things !
