Always a good stop off either for a meal or a snack. All local produce used, pies, savoury products, cakes etc and a good place to pick up some Peak Dairy cheese, butter and milk, all produced at the village dairy. Staff are always helpful and obliging.

Popped in for a breakfast cob and coffee. Wasn't disappointed, food was excellent along with the friendly service. There is a little cake counter on your way out would highly recommend trying them .

Busy little pit stop in the heart of Tideswell, stopped for a snack after a walk , cakes were large and lovely , coffee lacking slightly (Vanilla Latte either forgot to put the Vanilla in or just not enough) wouldn't put us off returning. All the staff friendly and efficient.

A cosy cafe within a bakery shop. There is extra seating upstairs. A specials board and menu with a range of breakfasts, lunches and snacks. The dining area was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the food was freshly prepared and very good. Very friendly and fast service. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely little cafe, came for breakfast and had the granola, yoghurt and berries which was delicious. The cakes all looked incredible and homemade and service was friendly and welcoming. Having a sweet breakfast option eg. Pancakes or waffles might make it better but the breakfast menu had a good spread anyway so I didn't really mind!

Great local cakes and sausage rolls. We ate in and then brought some home as well. Nice to find a cafe that doesn't just do standard muffins etc these days

Picked up a couple of tasty treats before a walk at the weekend - can honestly say the best fruit scone I've had in years. Sausage roll was great too. Nice and friendly, will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Food was good and our dog received a warm welcome. Catered for gluten free by changing the toast… although a bit of a battle as had to re explain to 2 different members of staff when they brought out normal toast and not what was requested. Smoothie we ordered was lovely.

We had a lovely breakfast here. Service was friendly and quick. I had a full breakfast which was delicious and included an oatcake which I really enjoyed. We also ordered sausage and bacon sandwiches and a 'choose yourself ' breakfast for our youngest son which was a mixture of items. We're sure to be back next time we visit Tideswell!

Well what can I say about this absolute Gem of a find on entering the staff was very welcoming the friendliest ever, it was very busy and hot but the staff pulled out all the stops to take care of the customers well done!!! when I ordered, well I can only say was the most absolutely delicious breakfast, cooked to perfection and the best local produce, you couldn't get any better, they even asked if my dogs would like fresh cold water on a very hot day, this is the easiest review to write as the whole experience was perfect the staff even gave advise on the walks to go on don't change a thing The Roost l will be back soon and Thank you
