Jodee's Bakery

The owner of this bakery has been a cake baker and designer for as long as I can remember. For years, I've indulged in her "Chocolate Banana Creme Cake" . I actually Look Forward to getting older, just to have her make my birthday cake! I've also been a part of a handful of weddings where she was the cake maker/decorator. The level of artistic ability, and then the quality of the cake is really quite impressive. It makes sense to have someone with this kind of experience handle something as important as your wedding cake. ...or any cake for that matter. Jodee's Always Impresses.

DO NOT USE THIS BAKERY!! The cake we got was the wrong filling and not good. It was served at the wedding and had some sort of very sweet Carmel filling, my daughter ordered strawberry...when brought to the attention of the owner we were told it was strawberry and we were lying, although I have 40 guests who all ate awful Carmel filling if I could give them less then one star I would.

Love this place. They made my daughter's beautiful sweet 16 cake and now we are back for her college graduation cake. Can't wait to meet with them to design it! Update: Just had the cake on Saturday and it was as beautiful as alwaysm although the Bavarian Cream was not what we expected. Wasn't horrible, just not the same cream you find in a doughnut. Love this place!

1 star for effort. I went for a consultation having asked all questions and concerns. The lady had reassured me it could all be done. I had ombré designs and was again reassured that the cake would come out just fine. During the duration of a week I received no emails or follow ups on how the cake was going so i assumed it was going well. I go in to pick up the cake (which was a highlight of the weekend) and was extremely disappointed to see that the ombre had just been stripes on the cake. I then told her my concerns and was told that there was no way she could have done ombré. If she had told me that during consultation i would changed the entire cake design or would have creatively changed ideas or worked with what she could have done to make the cake more appealing. Very dissapointed on the lack of communication and effortlessness the staff had displayed. Made me feel very unimportant while i was very excited and looking forward to this weekend celebration.
