Cute coffee shop. Small, without much parking. But, the staff is superb (and we met the super friendly owner). Full of charm! Definitely visit here when you're in town!

Customer service is above the charts, not to mention the breakfast burritos are texan approved across the board. Ps. The caramel macchiato puts starbucks to shame…

I ordered a Hot Cafe Breve- espresso with half n half with whipped cream. It was perfection. I don't know why other coffee shops don't offer whipped cream. For me it's a little added sweetness. It's like they don't want to mess with their craft espresso art. I like to make that decision. Thanks for having the option to add it.

The owner was absolutely amazing and so caring and helpful! She is a wonderful ambassador for Taos. My friend and I toured the town at her suggestion and fell in love with Taos. Everyone at Taos Java was friendly, fast, and a very efficient team. Our coffee and green chili burrito was delicious. Loved the cozy atmosphere. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful on all accounts. The staff was so sweet and took pictures of our floofy white dog and gave her two treats. We ended up getting the green chili burrito at the recommendation of the staff helping us. It was as amazing as he said. Our only regret is that we didn't either order 3 more for the road or bite into it earlier so we could have gone back for more. It is the highlight food of our trip!!!

Stopped here today on my way to Colorado Springs. It was a challenging day for them. A truck broke down in their drive thru. There also was a little staff bickering moment and a sudden rush slammed them at the counter. Yet, they did ALL they could to mitigate the issues, service their customers and put them first. I had a nice iced caramel macchiato and a green chili burrito. Satisfying for sure. It also was an absolute pleasure to sit and chat with Clark, the owner of Taos Java. It’s these little encounters that I love about traveling in my truck across the country. All the best. Clark!

Such incredible thoughtful service. I ordered nothing special, and no problems, and every lovely woman in the joint was effervescently kind and thoughtful. Atmosphere 10/10. Cute funky handmade solid wood furniture and doors. Great food and drink selection.

Great little spot! Besides Starbucks and McDonald's, this is the only coffee shop in the area that is open early in the morning. 6am on weekdays, 7am weekends. They also have a drive through. Very cute interior and the staff is lovely. The breakfast burrito was good, but not worth $8... especially for something that is heated up in the microwave. The red salsa served with it is very good and just the right amount of spicy. Great selection of tea and lots of coffee drink options. The pastries looked really good, but I did not try any. They also have oatmeal and smoothies.

The employees were so nice and made sure people weren't frustrated with the long line. The bacon burritos were awesome, the Chiles are spicy which is essential for me, and they were really big and filling. We also got some danishes. And I've never been huge on danishes but now I realize it's because I've never had GOOD danishes. Haven't had the raspberry ones yet but the cheese Danish was AMAZING. Taos Java is now a must visit in Taos for me.
