Man this place is delicious. Taiwanese style food but fried chicken is their MO. Service style is pretty casual but this is my go to for this style food.

cant believe i hadn’t reviewed kai eatery earlier. their kumara chips and XL fried chicken (chefs special flavour ONLY) are to die for. i love their seasoning, i have no clue what it is but it is so addictive like i will literally lick the fallout in the bag!!! i wish they would be more consistent in how much they put because without it, it tastes a bit sickening. also when the food isn’t freshly made, it’s kind of gross but that’s only happened like twice in the countless times i’ve ordered here. their baos are alright but not amazing, would rather eat a massive chicken thigh 😩 did not really enjoy their drinks though and they’re a bit pricy for the taste quality. but definitely get KUMARA CHIPS and their XL FRIED CHICKEN in CHEFS SPECIAL flavour !!!

My first time eating dumplings in Kai. I love how a little bit crispy it is, and it taste nice with the salad in it. I also love their chicken bites and XL chicken, it’s very savoury. And my favourite so far, the brown sugar milktea, I would like to try other drinks and I would totally come back for more!!

tried their brown sugar fresh milk tea, seoul bao and kumara fries and was much better than expected! The drink was so photogenic that I didn’t want to drink it… and seoul bao tastes really good too! I’m in love with the kumura fries (perfect amount of crunch and sweetness) and makes for a good afternoon snack:D will definitely come back for more~ service was great too

Best Taiwanese fried chicken in Auckland!!!. Never have anything so crispy and juicy at the same time like this. Love it from the first bite, regret that I didn't order another one, will definitely come back!
