Grape And Olive

Fantastic food and location. We recently had a meal at the Grape and Olive after our Wedding Ceremony and cannot praise it highly enough. Food was tasty, hot and nicely presented. Staff were courteous, friendly and professional. Prior to the day, Charlotte was very helpful in arranging for colleagues to dress the table with our own cloth and decorations to make the occasion even more special and memorable. Cannot fault it. Highly recommended.

I never leave reviews, but I’m sorry I will never come back to eat here. The only thing I enjoyed was the view. The food came out cold, we didn’t complain because we don’t send food back. The waiter that took our order was very nice, polite and couldn’t do enough. Very professional. The bar staff (the 2 ladies) were miserable didn’t like me asking questions. I asked if I could move to the beach side view, I was told no. I then asked to move to a different table once others have left, the attitude on the lady was disgusting. She gave me such a dirty look we felt like leaving. When they were both back by the bar the 2 ladies looked at me and my partner as if we’ve done something wrong. That’s how it felt. Very awkward. We quickly ate what was warm, which wasn’t everything. We left! We wasn’t there for an hour. We went home to eat. I went to the bar to ask if I could pay and they all looked confused. 3 of them arguing amongst themselves. The lady behind the bar said she’s not taking my payments and told the young lad to do it. He also looked like he didn’t like her attitude. I do not know the lady behind the bar and have no reason as to why she behaved like this. I think you need to employ staff with better manners and customer service. We can say we have been there now, but won’t return. The only thing I will recommend, is go for the view.

View is very good , but the service is not consistent , especially the reception lady is not friendly, seem not welcoming us. However, A young man who is very helpful and attentive to customer. Friendly and hard working young gentlemen. Quite disappointed that the table is sticky and the glass is dirty

Firstly, a previous review mentioned fine dining and in London that would've been better. (Great building and they missed a trick) But this isn't London. It's Swansea. It's not a place for rich people to dine. This is somewhere in Swansea for all locals to enjoy the stunning view in the city in which they live. Not just for posh tourists from London. Please never change Grape and Olive. I love that we have something this gorgeous that locals we can enjoy. I wouldn't say it's "fine dining" but it's formal dining and super tasty. One of the best roasts in Swansea. Amazing price. Even though it was misty and we couldn't see out the staff still sat us in a location I had requested so I'm super thankful. The weather isn't their fault. It was such a fantastic addition to my misty Swansea Sunday. Staff were excellent. Social distancing was good. Everything is clearly sign marked for distancing and the toilets and lifts. Everything was just perfect. No faults whatsoever. Brains Brisket was delicious and the potatos weren't hard or fried like most places. Amazing Rev James Gravy. I just can't fault anything. I want to go back ASAP for more the lamb this time. Pleasure. Will be back ASAP.

Beautiful must see venue, we had to go to top bar for coffee and drinks. We ordered three hot chocolates and they were terrible. It looked like 3 were spread between 1. Took 25 minutes because the guy wanted to serve others first and then finally went down stairs to make them. No bar stocked so we had to wait for cold drinks too. Didn't seemed bothered with us and was rude to us when we asked where our drinks were. I hope to not get that server again. And we will book a table in main restaurant to go again. (Advice is call ahead and book or just order a draft beer - no other draft drinks in top room) this will avoid waits We went out of food time (2.30pm) when there were loads of tables free in restaurant and upstairs but couldn't seat in restaurant. Also no accessibility from the main floor to the top floor!

Been once so far couple month ago Really nice place Views are fantastic.. staff i found very helpful and polite, and a nice atmosphere in the returant. Food i found was good ,and decent amount of choice on the menu. Everything was clean to a high standard . Very pleasent visit , so i will so we re-visit.
