Great little pub with good ale and food. Small garden to the rear. Went Saturday lunchtime and was very quiet. We had burgers which were worth the wait. Freshly cooked and tasted delicious. Would recommend.

Went for a family function and could not fault the service, food or the way we were treated.
The function room was decorated beautifully. All in all would happily go back again.

Very nice meal we had this afternoon, the ladies wore absolutely lovely 🥰, the children even loved it there to. Nice quality food , big portions to for the right price . The drinks come out perfect very clean hygienic place to eat and drink . Can’t wait for the summer to enjoy sitting in the garden for a nice cold coke thank you red lion we will be back xx

stopped there mid walk with dog for lunch. had the red lion beefburger, my friend had the new york burger both were excellent. good portions of each. Will definitely be back

This is an excellent, typical British village pub, set in an a lovely small village. It has ample parking, a garden at the rear, and the bars are neat, airy, and clean. The staff are clearly well respected by the locals who frequent the place, and the locals themselves are a friendly and open set of people from across the full spectrum of English society. I will visit it again for sure.

Friendly country type pub, bar lady great - not normally in this area, so it was a spur of the moment visit - obviously locals were curious, but all were friendly & welcoming & left us alone once we were away from the bar & with it being so cold the roaring fire was a great welcome too 👍😊

Excellent pub very friendly staff mark and Jane run a good ship as they say. The beer is very reasonable price for a village pub the only downside is that they don't do food at the moment.

Exquisite steak meal. We had a steak at a 'Michelin restaurant' yesterday however, The Red Lion provided the best cooked steak (and accompaniments); better service; friendly and comfortable atmosphere and at a 7th of the price! Well worth a visit.
