I only frequent the Stuart location and must say, it is pretty consistent. Some of the workers need a lesson on how to better treat customers. I typically order drive thru, which runs efficiently. Chicken is good, as are the rice and beans. Cheap dinner that is a step above most fast food chains.

Rudest experience of any Pollo Tropical I’ve been in during the past 20 years. We walked in to this nasty blonde heavier woman YELLING FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE DINING ROOM at an elderly couple who chose to sit down to enjoy their meal. She then continued to vent and gossip with the kitchen staff because she could not believe how “rude” THE COUPLE was being (keep in mind the couple said NOTHING to anyone). Even though the dining room was empty, and this was the beginning hours of dinner, no signs were posted anywhere, and all dining rooms are open in Florida, she insisted “EVERYONE MUST TAKE YOUR FOOD TO GO” and “THERE IS NO EATING INSIDE!” I’ve never seen a more insensitive and unprofessional person in my life.

The food is great. Everything else is not. 5-6 employees in the kitchen and two of them are actually doing their job. The lady at the cashier (working at 7:30pm 02/28/2022) was terrible, no help at all when new to the menu had to figure out what we could combine ourselves and then when she can’t hear us she adds sass and gets our drink size abs flavor wrong. Go up to change the drink and see the cashier peeking around the wall seeing customers and disregarding her job to then come out a minute later dragging feet, slouched. Body language obviously displays she does not want to be there or care to take anyones order. As I’m waiting the 5 mins for someone to realize I need help I see everyone in the kitchen just standing around joking with each other that they had to be told “I know you see these orders” then finally proceeds to start making them after playing in the kitchen. Finally get everything settle and as I’m walking to find a seat I skip the first table, then the second table, then the third table… until I finally gave up I’m trying to find a clean table as there were none. On the venture to my seat I almost slip on the greasy floors that seem to not have been cleaned in a year or two. Same goes for the bathroom seems it never gets cleaned at all. Even though the food is great, with how poorly cleaned the restaurant is, how do we know how clean the kitchen equipment really is?

The Worst Pollo tropical, I have ever been to. I was amazed at how almost everyone in the kitchen including the manager was clueless on how to run the business, from the cashier looked like it was her first day on the Job, and you can see that they didn't have enough chicken on the grill for the evening rush hour, so instead of adding more chicken to the grill, the manager was telling people you have to wait 20/30 minutes longer while there is only 4 whole chicken Left on the grill, and he never added any chicken, and over 12 people standing in line waiting, for service, and they are being ignored. This place needs to be investigated by the corporate office Badly!! Everyone needs to be trained or fired for incompetent.also after waiting 40 minutes to get my food, they forgot my rice and beans, and didn't ask if I needed anything else like plates and utensils, then to make it worse, when I get home to geat it, the chicken is not even cooked completely, the rice was mushy and when I left the store I remember seeing the manager coming behind me to put a sign up for closing the dining room so you can only go through the drive through, what a Joke.

I could say a lot but I think I'll just say this:
Online Google used to say they closed at 11 and at some point in time they started closing at 10. That's fine, I sent a request to Google to update the times and that was that.
Well I showed up the other day around 9 and apparently they now close at 9. I was so surprised I checked the times open on the front door and it says 10.
Pick a time to open.

Food is hit and miss. Some days it's fresh and what you'd expect and other times the chicken is dry and the rice is a ball of mush. The drive thru can get backed up and work very slowly. I guess it's a problem with getting and retaining people but we (the customer) pay for it.

I don't like doing this but I feel it is necessary to do so. I decided to come inside due to my previous drive thru visit not being the best.... my card was over charged and the manager was not friendly and didn't speak to me when I asked for it to be fixed. So this time, I had a larger order, and I went inside. After I had ordered and paid they told me that they were out of avocado I already paid for. I had ordered 4 of the cilantro avocado bowls and when I get back, only one of our meals has the avocado. When they told me they were out, they did not offer any kind of solution and just turned back around. The food is average from this location and the staff is always rude, I wanted to give them a second chance but this is literally the worst Pollo location I have ever been to and I am very disappointed haha. Would definitely give zero stars if I could!

Pollo Tropical takes a long time- not just here, but any Pollo Tropical. You need an hour lunch break. Really irritated on this trip, at a slow time, 3PM- it still took almost a half hour to order and get my food. The guy behind me had received his order, eaten it, and left, by the time I got my food. To add insult to injury, the damned order was wrong. I don't like giving it 1 star. I haven't been to a Pollo Tropical in at least a year, because it just takes too long. I'd eat here every day, if it didn't take so long to get food.
