Arrived a little late but it was not a problem. They saw us to a table and then we ordered our meals. They arrived shortly after and were delicious. I had met with a friend who I had not seen for quite a while and we wanted to sit and have a catch up. About an hour later we ordered puddings and these too were lovely. We actually spent a very long time chatting and apologised to the staff when we left and they were lovely. A nice atmosphere, a lovely meal and lovely staff, unhurried and reasonable prices. It is even better when they have offers on. What more could you want.

Staff always friendly, my allergy is always sorted when I place a food order. Tables, toilets and pub is kept well. Offers do help and encourage me to support our local pub. Plenty of car parking and a good menu to choose from.

Enjoyed the meal but was far to hot in the conservatory and although the air con was put on due to complaints from two people in the room, it was turned off leaving myself and five guests way to hot. The food was good though

Friendly bar staff, nothing was to much trouble offered to carry my sisters drink to her table as she has mobility issues. Food was served promptly, hot nicely presented. Good choice on the menu at affordable prices. Staff checked that everyone was happy with their meal. I lovely mid week treat.

We opted for steak with salad. The steak was well done as requested and was so tender I didn't want it to end. The salad was beautifull, fresh and crisp. All in all a lovely meal. Thank you.

The staff were extremely friendly. The food was excellent, the steak was cooked exactly how we like it. Delicious soup to start. Generous portion sizes. Very good value for money. If we lived nearby, we would be coming here all the time. We were instead on holiday in the area, but we are so pleased we discover this place. Superb.

Went here Friday lunchtime ( 25th Aug ) the place is spotlessly clean , light with plenty of room between tables. The menu was varied at reasonable prices .
Everyone had something different but it arrived quickly piping hot.
The staff are the cornerstone of this pub , not only are they very welcoming , they have developed the art of making sure all is OK without hovering over you .
A wonderful experience and we will we back soon
